According to Powerline Blog, this was reported on FOX News:
KELLY WRIGHT: Tony, here's the latest that we're finding out on this story. At least three Pentagon sources believe the documents about President Bush's service in the Texas Air National Guard are fakes. CBS as you mentioned is standing by its story...
Man, her teeth in that pic are bigger than TR's on Rushmore.
No, I believe that you are talking about Greg Kelly, not Kelly Wright.
This screen grab and byline may be prophetic. Ivan is on track to nail Panama City around Tuesday-Wednesday.
If Rather accepts that the gig is up by then he may try to go out in a blaze of glory by reporting live from the beach, standing in the breakers for effect. That may the last we ever see of him when the storm surge washes him away seals his fate in legend.
..er, that's "Sweet Polly Purebred" - FWIW.
Oh, how I love it here!
You are so right! President Bush has had four years to show the nation and the world who he is. Nobody, and I mean nobody of any intelligence, gives a Flying Duck about who he was thirty years ago. AWOL or not, fake memos or not, that's not who the man is today.
But John F(ind my butler, I just wet myself) Kerry is being exposed to be the same person he was thirty years ago. There is no personal growth. He has just aged (badly).
John Kerry is like every person I have known that have smoked weed since they were teenagers. The moment they took up the drug was the moment they stopped developing as a person. I'm not saying that Kerry is a toker, but his personal profile sure fits the doper image. Regular people, without the dope, go on to mature and progress their lives.
That would be George W. Bush. President Bush is also mature enough to know there is a God, and that Jesus walked the earth. Every great leader that ever survived knew it to.
You can see the goodness and joy in the President's eyes. He has a calm elegance that only the truth can provide.
Meanwile, John F(ind my butler, I just tooted)Kerry looks, talks and jestures like the opening act for the anti-christ.
"I like Lauren Greene and that Uma Parmesan chick also. Lol!"
#1(IMHO)...Kiran Chetry
As a friend of mine would say in describing a "babe":
"I'd crawl across 100 yards of broken glass on my bare back, just to smell the fumes of the laundry truck that takes her dirty clothes away."
As Cheney Said..I AM GLAD ZELL IS ON OUR SIDE....
No, they're from Texas: Woody Harrelson's dad picked 'em up on the Grassy Knoll.
Re Cronkite: did you see his POS commentary on the significance of the 1980 US Hockey Team the other night on ESPN2?
He basically pooh-poohed it, limiting it to showing what a bunch of people working together can do and ignoring what it did for our national spirit.
Then he somehow transitioned to today and made a dig about how we have to get along with the rest of the world.
It was embarrassing. Walter's just lucky no one pays attention to him any more anyway.
i have heard that word on 2 seperate shows today. Mendacity. Yeah I watched cat on a hot tin roof for the first time and I enjoyed it. And i watched one eposide of "once a theif" they used that word too. wierd
This may have to get to the legal level like the CNN-Sarin gas-Vietnam lies of about 7 years ago before CBS gets off its fat a** and acknowledges their error.
If Janet Jackson's titty merits Congressional hearings, this sure does. If this doesn't get Congressional hearings, then it's time to march on Washington DC with pitchforks.
chortle - what a great word!
from the OED>>>
chortle ,v.
SECOND EDITION
1989
intr. A factitious word introduced by the author of Through the Looking-Glass , and jocularly used by others after him, app. with some suggestion of chuckle , and of snort . Also trans. , to utter or sing with a chortling intonation. Also n. , an act of chortling.
hehe! Me too! :^DThey changed the title right after I pinged. They changed "FOX News" to "Powerline Blog" .....
Powerline is quoting FOX News though.
This is a lot bigger conspiracy than you think. CBS is owned by Viacom, who also owns publisher Simon and Schuster. They've all been after Bush since day one.
Are we still talking about Rita?
