Next DUmmy I run across in real-time is getting a fist full of knuckles for even questioning my love for the Freedoms my country stands for.

Now, now, plotical violence is a liberal thing. Though they like to call it "direct action".

They frequently say they'll get physical if they get Freeped at their events. So far the only contact we've had with the minions of the DUH (DU HighCommand) was one woman who came up with her sign over her head and said, "What do you think of this?"

Funny you should say that, because they often complain about how difficult it is to navigate FreeRepublic. Seriously.

I spent the afternoon at the local county fair. Lots of good fair food, 4-H booths, kids displaying their animals.......

Of course, among the commercial exhibits, were the obligitory political booths. The Pub's had their staff of volunteers handing out stickers, balloons, lawn signs, voter registration information and friendly banter. Next building over, at the Dems booth, you were greeted by a LARGE sign that informed you that you were "ENTERING A BUSH FREE ZONE..VOTE FOR JOHN KERRY" The booth was staffed, as always, by PAID, grossly obese workers.

They never fail to dissappoint.........

Only to the extent that the "rat cause" is monolithic. I think a real problem exists with "rat supporters" misunderstanding what they support. That can happen on our side, as well. I neither accuse all Demmocrats of hating America, nor of being lost to us. To say so would prove that I myself hated America, because I would be saying that I hated people with whom I disagree simply on the basis of our differences. If we lose the ability to disagree politely, then we will lose the Republic. I love the Republic, and I will defend peoples' right to disagree. To do otherwise would be to act like a typical America-hating DUer.
