My new site www.goodnewsamerica.us provides the latest and fastest news we can provide. Not only will you find liks to the stories you most want to hear about from a conservative perspective, we try to focus on the good news that's out there ( good news isn't always pleasant).
Additionally as a site member (free) you will be offered the following features:
- Personal Blog
- Private Messaging to other site members
- Personal Links
- Comment on news links
- Participate in forum discussions including posting your own polls.
- Submit links, news stories, reviews, and articles for approval.
- Participate in polls and surveys
- Sound off in the chat box.
- Downloads (coming soon)
- User theme choices (coming soon)
We have tried to make the site as easy as possible to use, and I think you'll all find it a good experience overall. Your suggestions on the site will be greatly appreciated. In the long run user participation will lead to the success of the site. We want to post all the news that's good that we possibly can, but with times the way they are we will still post links to stories that are very important even if they aren't good news. We will also be needing some moderators and admins to help out with the site. If you feel like you would like to be a moderator or admin, please contact admin via the Private Messaging system.
Admittedly the site is short on original content at the moment, but as membership grows and participation increases there will be more features available. For instance, when there are more submissions and posts a latest forum post, articles, reviews, and comments will have a box on the front page.
Remember, the general policy of the site will be that there will be no pictures posted on the front page of the site unless it is a picture that is too important not to post. We want the site to load as fast as possible and plain text is the best way to accomplish that goal.
Once you have signed up, look below the "Latest Stories" box on the left to find the user specific features (except the Private Messaging system which will be shown in the "Info Center" box once you are logged in).

This is incredible. The greatest agglomerator for news in the history of mankind is at our disposal, and there are those anxious to hear only what they agree with, and only if it makes them feel good. This is progress? LOL

Believe it or not there are folks out there that like to hear the news that they are interested in. At goodnewsamerica.us we are no better or worse than Drudge, NewsMax, or Talon (except that we don't write very many stories - yet). Sure we post what WE think is important, but we'll also post stuff that's important and not necessarily good news. What's wrong with having a place to find links to news that like minded folks enjoy reading?
Like the slogan says, it's fast news. We can post from any machine in the world that can get on the Web. We're always searching for stories of interest, and as soon as they are found they are posted. You might also notice that there is a convention for showing what WE think is good news (»).
