An old saying is "dance with the one that brung ya". He said he supported the AWB during the election, so your statement is more nonsense.
Perhaps you should have voted for SoreLoserman. They woulda brung ya somewhere you REALLY didn't want to go.

Treating politics like a game is the reason this country is beginning to fall apart. Baloney. Treating politics like a religion (which is a sacrilege) while the Democrats played it like the game it is is the precise reason they ran rings around us for forty years.
And if empty-headed Bozos like you have their way, they will soon be running rings around us for another forty years.

What do you mean we should wait for the Supreme Court to "save" our necks? Law abiding citizens aren't the ones that should take time and money to convince the Supreme Court to uphold the Constitution. I say let those individuals who are abusing public office by infringing upon the rights specified in the Constitution try to persuade the high Court to allow them to do so. As far as I am concerned, we need a special commission to examine bad laws and to PUNISH those individuals who drafted and passed bad laws in the first place.

what do you think will happen to the Constitution if idiots like you help elect Hillary? And soft-spoken and complimentary posts like yours are designed to help attract voters and prevent others like me from leaving? If so, you're failing miserably.

"Just like Vince Foster would be alive today if he had a handgun, the Branch Davidians would be alive today if they owned and effectively operated a rocket propelled grenade launcher and shoulder mounted, laser guided anti-aircraft missiles.Could you imagine Ruby Ridge if Randy Weaver had mined his property with remote detonation Claymore's? "
I dunno about that Doc.
Re Foster- Clintoon thugs probably offd the guy without warning.
Re the horrible acts at Waco and Ruby Ridge- Reno and the certain other individuals involved abused public office and betrayed our trust. Why isn't AG Ashcroft holding her or ANY of the others accountable for THEIR crimes?

"You jest, but I'll bet Jefferson, Washington and Madison, not to mention Franklin, would have aggreed whole heartedly with that statement had such items existed in their day."
That's because the Founding fathers TRUSTED their fellow Americans. Demonrats- and even some Republicans- do not. The litmus test is remarks and efforts expended on laws that infringe upon liberty and the G*d given right of EVERY citizen to pursue his/her happiness- provided such pursuit does not infringe upon that same right enjoyed by fellow citizens.
"Nanny" type laws are in fact a mask for legislative tyranny and the contempt the authors and supporters of such "laws" have toward us.

Well said!
Without the 2nd Amendment protecting your right to protect yourself and your property, the right to free speech is meaningless.

Good point!

Still, and if that is the case, I would find it very disturbing if W strayed from his plain language and principled leadership and began using games and tactics fit for a...Clinton.

You have seen how the Democrats don't advance their socialist agenda by quoting Marx. They talk about everything but Marx, and they get us there without most of the idtiot voters having a clue. They hide behind words like "fairness" and "inclusiveness," because who could be against those things?
Still you haven't taken the hint.
All that is necessary to Sunset AWB is for the House to ignore it, but that's not good enough for you, no sir! You want to pound your chest and scream "Constitution, Founding Fathers, Armed Revolution" which is going to alienate the vast majority of voters who don't know jack *%&$ about anything except that they don't like people who do.

Well said. And remember, even the wars of ideas are won one battle at a time and as long as crooked individuals are allowed to worm themselves into positions within our sacred institutions of commerce and governance, we need to keep mowing the lawn and weed them out.

How does it feel to be a pagan?

But the First Ammendmant allows you to foment rebellion and organize. A friend and I actually sat down to figure it out, the first half of the Bill of Rights is a decending order list of how to overthrow a government:
First you complain, then you organize (1st)
Then you arm and train (2nd)
Then you have a home safe from intrussion by the government (3rd and 4th)
Then you can't be forced to admit what you're doing and rat out your compatriots (5th)
Pretty impressive.

I'll have nightmares for sure now....
Night-mares...hehehe

Pretty impressive. More impressive is the way the government managed to violate nine out of ten on a single day (April 19, 2001).

All that has to happen for the AWB renewal to become history is for the House to ignore it, but that is not good enough for YOU. YOU demand that Bush beat his chest and make pious pronouncements about the sacredness of the Constitution.
