Hoo boy! I made a nice drink; Buffalo Trace Bourbon (2/3) and Cynar (1/3) a splash of Angostura, and Luxardo cherries (2). Happily, I made it as if I had a friend over, so not a double, but a quadruple!
Later, I have two beautiful lamb chops standing by with a large sprig of rosemary for the cast iron pan. Fresh loaf of rustic baguette and fried young spinach.
What are you having?
Home brew. Cool!
Nothing. Making my first attempt at a 72-hour water fast.
Chicken soup, hot tea. Cold or flu, I don’t know. Not Covid. Long-lasting. Mono. No clue.
Nothing better to do than post all day.
Chicken and dumplings with the dumpling made fresh from scratch and rolled out with an old-fashioned rolling pin. It’s supposed to rain for the weekend so I thought that would be a good meal that would last through the next couple of days.
Good luck. I appreciate the ascetic approach.
Actually I just got up from a 2 hour nap which I never do. Haven’t had a thing to eat or drink yet.
But last night I made my own Christmas cocktail with what I had...cream, cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, brown sugar and Disaronno Amaretto. Microwaved it for 2 minutes and topped it off with whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg. Was delicious 🥰
Manwich, crisps and sweet iced tea.
Maybe a nice slice of homemade carrot cake with a mix of powdered sugar, vanilla, oil and cream cheese for frosting.
Yuuuumy!!!😋😋😋
I’m on a week-long treatment of anti-oxidants:
Zinc
Quercitin
Vitamin C
Grape Seed Extract
EGCG (Green Tea Extract)
I have never felt better in my life. It is as if a comb went through my mind and removed all the nasty clutter. I understand from many sources that this regimen is also anti-viral.
Hope you feel better soon!
Diet coke and hello fresh moo sho pork bowls
A rib eye and some blue spot.
Classic!
noobie
OMG...is right! I’m salivating!
I take the first three every day. No combed mind, but notsick for nearly four years and...my luck ran out.
I made a white chicken/bean chili that is apparently THE chili in Arkansas.
Absolutely delicious - last night I served it over spaghetti (family request) - tonight will be cornbread.
Rounded out with a salad - and a nice bottle of hard apple/cranberry cider from a six-pack that a guest left at the house.
Sorry to hear that. A Misheberach for you this evening. G-d Bless!
No, I’m a repub voter which is the loathing because they’re not going to a damn thing to stop the left, which is the fear.
I have friends who make 100+ gallons of cider per year. They’re barely able to keep up with their production through drinking. I’ve never had a bad cider from them yet. They use wild yeast and no additives. Good friends to have!
+1!
Peanut butter? Seriously? Yuck!
