Hoo boy! I made a nice drink; Buffalo Trace Bourbon (2/3) and Cynar (1/3) a splash of Angostura, and Luxardo cherries (2). Happily, I made it as if I had a friend over, so not a double, but a quadruple!
Later, I have two beautiful lamb chops standing by with a large sprig of rosemary for the cast iron pan. Fresh loaf of rustic baguette and fried young spinach.
What are you having?
Late teens....Three days wasn’t that long. On the list if things teens shouldn’t do, that was probably one of my lesser offenses.
I remember breaking a fast with a glass of apple juice. My mouth hated me for a couple of hours.
Sazerac, neat.
Classic.
My favorite at the lake cabin evening: Steak kabobs marinated in grated onion, red wine vinegar and fresh basil, a fine Malbec, followed with Nassif Family Reserve whiskey, a good cigar and my playlist of Stan Kenton favorites while watching sunset over the lake
Good times. Thought you were Minn, but SoDak makes sense. Loved Fargo when I was there. Kung pao pheasant (freshly shot and cleaned) and a nice Cotes du Rhone looking out over the frozen lake at sunset.
Air fried bacon wrapped pork tenderloin medallions, oven roasted potatos and green beans. Washed down with an ice cold Lone Star Longneck.
I hadn’t cooked a real meal in a while so I splurged.
Yep, been planning out the gameplan to break the fast properly.
First thing, have some MCT oil and some avocado
Wait a bit, eat some Kimchee
Wait a bit, have some steamed vegetables.
And then after another hour or two, have a nice salmon filet.
Frozen pizza from the grocery store, and Guinness.
Yes, I am a believer in them. I was given a huge one 13.5 inches across by my brother’s wife, because she is a very slight woman, and was unable to even pull it out of the cabinet!
I love it...:)
I can imagine how great your collection looks on the raw-edged redwood!
