Turns out there’s something worse on the dating scene than being “ghosted.”
Singer-songwriter Mariel Darling took to TikTok to share the latest horrifying dating trend: being “zombied.”
“Girl, you’re being ghosted? I’m being zombied,” she shared with her 255,900 followers on the platform. “It’s like ghosting, but he comes back from the dead after a couple months and hits you up,” she explained in the video with 1.5 million views and 151,100 likes.

Social Media is the end of our traditional society as we knew it. I thought it had peaked with Facebook, Twitter, and Istagram. Now we have this idiotic TicTok and what are called “Influencers”. I could to on, but why bother? We all know what is happening with the Millenials and GenZ morons. Their addiction to these platforms disgust me.

Yes, I never liked the whole ‘ghosting’ rant-rage.
A lot of times it’s just jilted psycho dates who are mad their stalking powers aren’t as strong as their quarry’s ghosting powers.
When you’re dating, you can usually spot bad news right away. Some people just can’t hide how dysfunctional they are.
But others have cultivated the mask. They wear the normality face rather diligently for some time. In fact, it’s the sociopaths that can be the most charming in the beginning.
But when you finally unmask, them, YOU ARE THE BAD GUY when you run for the hills.
People think it’s their right to put their hooks in you and keep them there. Relationships are mutually agreed to (and hopefully mutually beneficial) social arrangements. They are not iron-clad contracts.
Yes, you do owe someone an explanation when you break up with them. I also think text breakups are a coward move.
However, it’s the pretty faces that hold the proverbial axe behind their back, and its risky to face the Mr/Mrs Hyde of a two-faced psychopath.

Are they rediscovering every routine and normal human interaction and having to give them special names and have internet discussions about their new discovery?
