President Joe Biden issued a proclamation on Friday praising the Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade decision—which declared abortion a right—and declaring that this Sunday, January 22, will be a day to honor “the 50th Anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision.”
At the same time, Biden condemned the Supreme Court’s 2022 decision in Dobbs vs. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned Roe.
“The Court got Roe right 50 years ago,” said Biden. “It was a balanced decision with broad national consensus that the majority of Americans have continued to support for the last 50 years. And it was a constitutional principle upheld by justices appointed by Democratic and Republican Presidents alike.
“But 7 months ago, a conservative majority on the Supreme Court overturned Roe,” Biden said. “Never before has the Court taken away a right so fundamental to Americans.” …

Proclaiming it doesn’t do anything. it already is the anniversary. This is his way of showing the fangtooth feminazis that he is thoroughly committed, as is the head of his religion, to allowing mothers to kill their babies and to punish anyone who disagrees.
Fangtooth feminazis vote and send money. Planned Infanticide kicks in a lot of money. Money keeps the dems in power.
What’s next? Maybe Biden will celebrate the Dred Scott decision.
That’s “the overturned Roe v. Wade decision.”
As a Catholic, he should well know Jan.22 is Right to Life Sunday in his own church.
Anathema Bastard. I have more right to take the Mass tomorrow than he does, and I’m a Lutheran.
Informed legal opinion is more or less uniformly derogatory of the noted decision in Roe v. Wade, seeing it as lacking adequate support in the text of the U.S. Constitution, in any purported “penumbras” thereof, or in any “emanations” therefrom.
The decision was ripe for reversal the day it was issued.
And then there was Brandon, and his big, pandering, lying mouth.
Thank you for saying this!
Absolute nonsense.
Read the affirming opinions and you see the Supreme Court had taken over the responsibility of writing laws about this issue. Instead, the Court now says the responsibility resides with Congress and the states where it should have been in the first place. These politicians are now forced into the excruciating position of having to deal with this moral dilemma as they try to keep their jobs.
The lying, murdering traitor now brags about it.
Once again, biden proves that he is a nitwit!!
And women who have abortions and never give birth cannot be called “mothers”!!
Talk about inviting God’s judgment on yourself and your country.
You got any “I celebrate Dredd Scott” in there, joe?
>>And women who have abortions and never give birth cannot be called “mothers”!!<<
That is the first half of what they should be called.
Perhaps only Robert Byrd knew for sure.
I, Joseph R. Biden do solemnly declare that I’m a retard led by Satan.
I know a bunch of babies who will definitely not be voting Dem in 18 years.
Satanic evil demons. The lot of them.
The Party of Death, Dismemberment and Mutilation
Correct. The error that the murderers insist is that it was law. The notion that it was lawful was a grievous mistake. The supreme court has no right to create laws. Celebrating that such an odious proclamation existed in the law points out how deeply fallible those who serve as justices can be. Anyone celebrating in honor of such a holocaust has no compassion for the suffering of innocent babies and might as well be celebrating the anniversity of the opening of Auschwitz or Bergen-Belsen...I think some really would.
Republicans should pass a resolution celebrating the NEW and proper Roe v. Wade decision.
