Police have arrested a man on suspicion of attempting to abduct a bikini-clad barista through a drive-thru window.
The suspect, who has not been publicly identified, was arrested at 11am on Tuesday, at his home in Auburn, Washington.
Investigators were able to search his vehicle and found evidence linking him to the scene, as well as spotting his unique 'Chevrolet’ tattoo on his left forearm.
The driver of the Chevy Silverado will remain in police custody and has yet to be officially charged with anything.
Auburn Police Department spokesperson Kolby Crossley said: 'They are in vulnerable positions because they’re usually controlling those spots by themselves at early hours in the morning when it’s dark outside.
‘But this barista did an awesome job of protecting herself and fighting this person off.’
Authorities added that they arrested the suspect after ‘overwhelming support from the community.’
In the surveillance footage, the suspect is seen grabbing the woman's arm with one hand while holding a looped zip tie device in the other - before he attempts to drag the victim out of the window.
The barista fought back and eventually set herself free before the man quickly sped off, with some dollar bills falling to the ground.

I’m guessing she wasn’t a heffer
Judging from the size of her arm, I'd say no, she wasn't.
“You can get anything you want, at Alice’s Restaurant (...except for Alice...)”
She didn’t look like it to me.
there are a lot of girls who think they are really hot, but do not want to be strippers, or have a fans page, but enjoy work their looks for tips.
From what I understand they are popular in the pacific nw because it always rains and people want to see girls in bikinis
there are some sample pics at link.
No Ford guy would do something like that.
Or in the words of a former lady co-worker, “Nobody steals Fords.”
In 2022, Ford F-series pickups were either the most stolen or second most stolen vehicles, depending on which source you believe.
Well, this was back in the 80’s. In L.A.
Huh. Color me surprised. This actually didn’t happen in Florida.
Before I left California about 4 years back saw a lingerie based coffee booth spring up at about the half way of my long commute. Stopped there for coffee a few times, and pretended like the pleasant view was not a factor in how often...the coffee was good and the girls were attractive and seemed friendly and good natured.
I wonder what the car thieves were stealing back then. I know in the 70s old VWs got stolen a lot, because they were so easy to hotwire and they didn’t have steering locks.
Toyotas if I remember correctly, but don’t hold me to that.
Toyotas and Hondas were common on the recent lists I checked.
Our ‘62 Mercedes had a steering lock. It also had a 19” diameter steering wheel - no power steering.
The physics of getting a woman through two windows by her arm would require quite the foot pounds of torque and a very injured young woman.
Maybe they should do the experiment with the guy as the abductee, using an excavator for the power source.
theft proof.
This Hass to be one of the most stupidest criminal ideas I have ever heard.
