It is a fact reported widely in reliable media that they shut down domestic travel from Wuhan while still allowing approximately a week of international travel from Wuhan to all parts of the globe.
It was a deliberate decision and one that our media/leaders seem quite incurious about even today despite the total costs of this fiasco.
If China is going to take the hit, the CCP wants everyone to take the hit. That is how they think.

The rest of the world already took the major hit. Only China had the means to literally lock people indoors for years by shutting down and sealing of people and entire cities. The rest of us were asked to shelter in place, but we’ve been open for the last year. Most of the severe damage to the rest of the world has been done. It remains to be seen if China’s experiment with literally locking people away will have worked or if they will experience a massive surge in cases and deaths among the sick. Not that we would ever know for certain. Maybe they already have some levels of herd immunity or maybe they succeeded to a large degree to prevent the spread - and now have to take the hit.
They like to spread fear. Good thing I never bought into the fear mongering, I refused the clot shots, caught the Covid flu, survived just fine, didn’t miss a step.
Just say NO to the fear, the masks, the shutdowns and mandates. The good Lord takes care of his people.
All China did was exactly what Fed.gov and other health-nazis wanted to do - total lockdowns, total mass-testing, total social control
They succeeded in stopping mass spread of covid, at the expense of their economy, their birth rate, their society and people’s mental health

Could the new variant be deadlier to people who have taken a vaccine. I think this happen to the SARS vaccine during the clinical trials.

What is probably gleefully adding to China's calumny is that many of the shut-ins were also not exposed to regular influenza for the past two flu seasons, and this Type A H1N1 resurgence is oddly ignoring its last vector in 2012 (under-20) and instead going whole hog in the 25-55 vector -- which is a little weird, given that the first half of that vector should have 'aged-up' with immunity from the 2012 strain. Hmmm.
Reports are coming out that the China vaccine doesn’t work. They have switched to Pfizer.
I have been concerned China might release a second punch, a knockout punch.
Also consider the extent of their lockdowns. In some areas it is like they were never exposed the first time.
Is the deadlier version laying in wait? We will never know for sure...it is China.
