•After months of anticipation, the brand new Game of Thrones prequel series, House of the Dragon, is finally here - and it certainly did not disappoint
•The first episode premiered on HBO Max on Sunday, August 21, and in true GoT fashion, it was filled with explicit nudity, erotic sex scenes, bloody gore, undertones of incest, and a few brutal murders
• GoT was known for being filled with blood, guts, and gore, depictions of graphic violence, intimate sex scenes, and naked bodies - and the spinoff seems like it will be filled with much of the same
•The 10-episode series takes place nearly 200 years prior to the events of Game of Thrones, and is set to showcase the history of the iconic Targaryen House - as members of the family fight for the throne
•From people being beheaded and castrated to a woman getting a graphic C-section - FEMAIL recapped the most shocking and talked-about moments from the first episode of House of the Dragon

I want Death
I want to see some Blood
I want to see some killing!
I want to see some body parts flying around.."
Very doubtful anyone can figure out who I quoted here, but ?
The virtual Collosium.
Modern-day Rome is where we are.
Elizabeth I.......................
Give ‘em lots of sex, perversion and rape
Give ‘em lots of violence, and plenty to hate
Give the people what they want
Give the people what they want
-The Kinks
Yuck.
Previous Game of Thrones series had one novel/bizarre/previously unseen graphic method of death in every episode.
Given the state of our culture and entertainment industry, its not a trend they will forsake.
So it’s a feel good show for the whole family 8 to 80?
But don’t worry, Rings of Power will have gay hobbits.
I read the Game of Thrones books and they were pretty good, stopped reading after 4 or 5 because I was sick of any character you cared about getting killed off. Only watched one of the GOT on HBO and didn’t bother after that. All sex, nudity and raunch.
for 7 dollars a month I watch brit box and enjoy period dramas and great detective shows like Inspector Morse, Lewis, and Poirot.
Class, sophistication and intelligence.
Actress playing the part of Rhaenyra looks like she could have been in the Flying Monkey Brigade in the Wizard of Oz.
I got into following the original G.O.T. because it was basically a medieval soap opera and all the intrigue behind the vast number of characters rising, mostly because I knew others who were into it, and like fantasy football, it’s almost like vicarious social participation. BUT, I refuse to get sucked into any new attempts by bastardize (pun intended) the storyline. If this series is just about Daenerys, then I don’t care how many other characters they bring in or intoduce, it’s just not going to have that vast chess-board feel to it.
The GOT series became an awful train wreck. Not going to watch a new series.
Give it a few years - decade perhaps and these shows will show real torture & real death of some actor/actresses. Snuff films come of age.
“Class, sophistication and intelligence”
3 characteristics that society in general is unfortunately allowing to slip away......don’t get me started on hollywood.
I don't know much about the writers/directors. If its anything like, or involves the people who wrote, seasons 7 and 8 of the original GoT, then it won't have much, except for gore and spectacle.
everything HAS to get more extra every season or the sheeple have no reason to watch...
Its transgender dwarves that have me concerned.
They really had something but the gays and feminists who run Hollywood ruined it. By season five women ran every kingdom, as if.
You can’t tell the male dwarves from the female ones anyway. Except for the fat black dwarf with no beard.
