Average IQ in India: 80-85.
That must be the IQ required to not be eaten by a tiger before you reproduce.
I can think of worse things than studying.
A. The only positive note in this sad story is that there is this level of outrage about the suicide of a female student.
B. Didn’t her parents or family see that she was being overworked, or did she live with other students and not with her family? Or were her own parents so intimidated by this ‘teacher’, they dared not question his methods?
C. Justice can possibly be done via court and trial, but I think these angry crowds will not be satisfied with the quiet and sterile ritual of any trial. They are out for blood.
B)..I see now that the girl lived in a hostel or dorm like area. Still, were there no family visits or cell phone face images?
There are 7 years of being a teen. It would be nice know which one of those the girl was.

Just sayin'.
Maybe they have something not measured by IQ tests.
The key word is “average”; Indians in the US will tell you how many people left behind in India are not very bright. We have a skewed impression of them because the cream of the crop escapes to the West; if you deal with Indians (in India) as back-office support for Western companies, you’ll see another side of them altogether.
The dumb ones stay home
Netherlands and Germany
Is that average iq for native population only or are the non natives counted in it?
Don’t they always.
Didn't they test Israel?
Was the studying the “torture”, or did they abuse her in some way to force her to study?
The note reads that the studying itself was the torture.
Aren't the IQ tests created by white western males (the only remaining unprotected class)?
A creature's intelligence on an average day is quite different than that demonstrated when that same creature is hungry and/or desperate.
Athletic coaches around the world know that the performance of an athlete who is provoked to a state of "manageable anger" is remarkably different than the performance of that athlete otherwise.
The same is true with intellectual performance.
A person or animal has to be provoked by events into a state of heightened alert to get an accurate reading as to real IQ. And even then, the test measurement has to focus on the specific environment and crisis at hand.
