Famous philosopher and prophet Michel de Nostradame – a.k.a Nostradamus – made thousands of predictions for the future in his book Les Prophéties, released over 450 years ago.
The Frenchman who was born in 1503 wrote a series of 932 quatrains – four-line poems – in 1555, which contain thousands of prophecies for the future of humanity.
Nostradamus has been credited with predicting everything from the rise of Hitler to the shooting of JFK and the 9/11 attacks.
Whether you’re a believer or a sceptic, there’s no denying that there have been eerie correlations between his predictions and major historical events.
But what do his prophecies suggest is to come in 2022
In 2021 Nostradamus predicted a global famine, for 2022 however he has predicted inflation as the reason behind this starvation.
He warns of the rising prices in a failing economy: “No abbots, monks, no novices to learn;
“ Honey shall cost far more than candle-wax
“So high the price of wheat,
“That man is stirred
“His fellow man to eat in his despair
could 2022 finally be the year robots take over?
“The Moon in the full of night over the high mountain,
“The new sage with a lone brain sees it:
“By his disciples invited to be immortal,
“Eyes to the south. Hands in bosoms, bodies in the fire.”
Nostradamus' writings could be telling us the "new sage" of AI tech, who humans will have "invited to be immortal" will rise, and the entire episode will end with "bodies in the fire".
With the fear of an AI takeover, many experts have issued warnings about the implications of relying too much on technology, especially when it comes to robots.
Between the Bushes of the Lone Star
Arose the mediocre Leader.
A hideous Witch by his side,
The head of a rotund woman in his lap."
I call him Beelzebubba.
