So I'm on this debate on Twitter.
Here, fellow FReepers is the God's honest truth.
I am 53 years old. I'm not a recluse. I have family, friends, co-workers, all over the United States. I'm socially active.
I do not know a single person who has died from Covid. I do not know a single person who has been hospitalized with Covid. I have not once received a phone call that someone I know has died from this.
I DO KNOW several people who have gotten Covid, all have recovered. Most said it felt like a weird cold. One friend of mine said it kicked his ass. None of them went to the hospital with it. All have been fine.
I read about hospitals overwhelmed with patients on life support, dying.
Seriously, am I living some strange sheltered existence where this disease doesn't exist?
I don’t know anyone personally who died. I know a bunch who had it, none were sick for more than a couple days. My work group of 5, all four had it except me. I had a cold for almost three weeks with a lot of fatigue just this last month so who knows. I went to seven college football, games and flew five times
My cousin had it twice and her husband, about 40, had it and was in the hospital for a few days it’s breathing issues. He’s fine now.
We have three clients I know of out of 500 families that have died. As far as hospitalization, both my parents age 91 and 88 were hospitalized for 10 days with dad on oxygen.
I know of 2 one vaxxed and one who got it last November before the vaxxes were out (actually 3 - the one who was vaxxed had a father in law who died of it the year before too).
These were neighbors and internet acquaintances not direct family members.
Directly - I’ve had lots of family and friends who got it - of about 3 dozen who got it, 4 got really bad cases of it who should’ve been in the hospital but couldn’t get in. One finally did, fortunately, and all recovered but needing extensive therapy (supplemental oxygen and some lung damage)
No one dead from the vaxx itself yet.
My Cousins husband, age 78. He languished at home after back surgery. Then his incision became infected with MRSA. This was a 4 week thing with him in the recliner and his family tending to his needs. He developed pneumonia, then he died on the way to the hospital after spiking a fever. Diagnosis, Covid 19.

I get in trouble when I don’t put a /s
The flower girl in my 1978 wedding died from COVID-19 on March 29, 2021. She had been intubated and in a coma for 2 weeks. She came out of the coma and off the ventilator. Looked good for a couple days and died.
I got it, wife got it, all four kids and spouses got it, grandkids got it. Friends got it.
That's my report. Not saying you can't have problems, just know none who have had them. And that's a lot of people.
My cousin had it twice and said the second was worse.
its the protocol
deny easy early oral management...tell people to stay home without treatment...
then whamo...they get very sick and are admitted, placed on oxygen, then cpap, then bipap and then vent....all the time getting remdesivir.
I don’t get it.
Seems to me, if you know people that post here, you’re not likely to die of rona.
No, you are not alone. I’ve posted several times over the past year about my experiences. I live in the largest city of a free state and we’ve been fortunate. Not much masking, not much difference over the past twenty months. Of the sixty-plus people I personally know, a total of four have had trouble (ER/ urgent care or repeat medical visits) with none hospitalized. The most recent was a “fully vaccinated” friend that got it at a “fully vaccinated Thanksgiving” and had an ER visit due to low O2 levels.
I know of 2 people were hospitalized..did not have vax..were in early 60,s
So far for me, I don’t know anyone that has died of/with the ChinaVirus, except for supposedly the wife’s great-aunt/uncle or something? Cousin’s-uncle? Cousin-twice-removed? Some kind of far-out relatives that I have never met, and I don’t know if she even actually knows them or not.
My grandmother was pretty sick for a week or two around a month ago, and several of my aunts/uncles as well. Grandma went to the hospital for several days, but she’s upper-70s or 80s. Uncle Jeff also, but he’s a big dude, not the best of health. Late-50s I think. Everyone else varied from hurting for a week, to barely touched, but no one else was in the hospital. My mom went down to help take care of Grandma (she’s tested positive before, so she didn’t care about it), and having her (a nurse) helping was probably the only thing that saved Grandma from the hospital.
One or two friends my age (30s) who were out for a couple days, but that’s it.
In my family, at least 20 have gotten sick with something everyone now calls Covid. Who knows?
It’s a scam.
People do die of covid so its not that funny. It was more serious and rampant when it first arrived.
Tell your oh so funny post to my dr friend who was in army reserves deployed to New jersey at first breakout to help deal w the corpses..yes the morgues were overwhelmed.
The sup lime to are a big deal, take them.
Do not feed the llort.
