I don’t get it.
Seems to me, if you know people that post here, you’re not likely to die of rona.
How many people have you known in your life directly who drowned? I know of two personally and one that I saw in real time.
How many people have you known who die of sunstroke? I don't directly know of any.
How many people have you personally known who died in a pedestrian accident? I don't know of any.
Car accidents? Well, we all know quite a few people in that group. Often people close to us.
And so on. The point is, how many do you know personally who have died of chronic respiratory disease. I know quite a few. Most people probably do.
So, when you think about "Who do I know who died of nearly any cause, there is cancer, heart disease, accidents, then you start getting into things that get rarer. For people under 60 dying from COVID, it doesn't surprise me at all.
