Did anyone else read this Manifesto when it was published ?
I did, and did not find it to be rambling, or without reason.
I cannot understand that because how could the MSN ever be misleading ?
I knew a guy a long time ago (Hi Brian!) His mother lived across the dirt road from him, she used to drive him into town to get groceries and mail stuff and he would give her veggies from his garden until she found out he used his own urine to fertilize them.

“get groceries and mail stuff”
Yes, I seem to remember that Teddy K was quite the USPS customer!

At the time people were pointing out that some of Kaczynski’s writings seemed to come straight from Algore’s “Earth in the Balance.”

"Did anyone else read this Manifesto when it was published ? I did, and did not find it to be rambling, or without reason." Agreed. Reading it in retrospect, his analysis of leftist psychology and the threat high-tech presented to individual liberty were, dare I say, prophetic.

Did he his last prison’s mailing address?

"At the time people were pointing out that some of Kaczynski’s writings seemed to come straight from Algore’s “Earth in the Balance.” You could also cherry pick lines from his manifesto that could have come straight out of Rush Limbaugh's books - especially from his (Kaczynski's) paragraphs on leftist psychology.

He turned out to be prescient about where a technological society could be headed if it wasn’t reined in, that’s for sure.

I expected it be a left-wing nut manifesto, but it was not. In fact, he understood the left almost as well as Rush Limbaugh. I remember it as anti-technology, not left-wing or right-wing.

The manifesto railed against modernization, which David and his wife recognized as his brother's ramblings. He was a left-wing marxist nut job... Which is why the press ignored him almost as soon as he was identified.
