Have you heard of the “Magnetic Challenge?”
No, it’s not some wacky teenage TikTok challenge, it’s actually much creepier.
It all started as a rumor involving a microchipping conspiracy theory that involved the COVID-19 vaccine.
It’s no secret that many people are leery about taking the vaccine for a number of reasons, namely because it hasn’t gone through the lengthy trials needed in order to receive FDA approval. However, a lot of folks are also convinced that the COVID-19 vaccine is part of a sinister plot to microchip the masses.
One of those conspiracy theories involves “magnetized proteins.”
Here’s some background:
Back in 2016, researchers at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville genetically engineered a magnetized protein called “Magneto.”
That protein was then placed into a virus and injected into an animal’s brain. The point of the research was to use the “Magneto” portion to manipulate neural activity under the remote influence of magnetic fields.. ."

Well that wins for the most wild ass conspiracy snd pseudo sounding science I have heard for a long time
What baffles me is the basic understanding of 9th grade biology exhibited by some of our friends who hold the antivaxxer position. Oh and now on a different thread all new drugs are evil. It is astounding. I thought we weee supposed to be the reasoned and intellectual side on the right. I guess some conservatives just want to build that bridge to the 19th century. Unbelievable.
I like the start of newsroom. We used to revere intelligence. We made inhuman advances in the sciences and arts. We formed a nation. And we were not afraid.
I guess all that is our the window.

The mask issue was easy for most people to resolve for themselves, too, both conservatives and liberals. Some medical people exhibited a kneejerk reaction to short supplies of masks, blaming the general population.
Masks made from some kinds of cloth do baffle virus-containing moisture from coughs, sneezes, talking and breathing, similar to covering a cough with a hand or sleeve but more effectively. Like so many other activities, effective use depends on the knowledge and conscience of the user.
And viral loads matter. The greater the load, the likely infected and potentially more ill the recipient is likely to become.
At least some viruses become ineffective soon after leaving a host and being ejected into the air. They’re exposed to dryness and lose a protective coating. Thus, the “distancing.” That’s why so many of us didn’t catch flus or colds for so long.
It’s common, knowledge, but people whose incomes depended on particular services (like restaurants and bars) also didn’t like it and participated in propaganda campaigns with attempts to use false political associations, false accusations, name calling and insults to stop others from wearing masks. We all know what the same individuals will do, when a much more deadly virus comes along.
Now, let’s see what happens to those trashy services, permanently.
You are all idiots.
1) Keys are made of brass, which is not magnetic.
2) your buddies girlfriend needs to take a shower
A lack of functioning brain cells
She’s sticking metal on her injection and it’s sticking lol. People obviously aren’t making this up.
Well, you have evidently spent some time trying to understand it.
smile.
Yes, lied to. Constantly.
1) Keys are made of brass, which is not magnetic.
2) your buddies girlfriend needs to take a shower
Out of curiosity, I got a magnet and put it against all of my keys and none stuck to the magnet save a small luggage key.
So I put the luggage key on me, on my arm where I got my 2 Pfizer jabs, on my forehead, chest…it did not stick. But the luggage key did connect to my Wi-Fi and I now get HBO Max if I stick the key in my ear.
Really? Some are.

The better question is why would Trump urge his supporters to inject poison into their bodies?
It is creepy stuff indeed. Basically the plot from the Dean Koontz series of novels wherein a recently widowed FBI agent trying to investigate her Marine husband's "suicide" uncovers a conspiracy to inject people with nanoparticles that accumulate in the brain which the elite can then use to control the behavior of us lowly plebes.
You do know that Dean Koontz writes fiction - right?
Thank you.
Back of the mind on that one for years. Did not realize it was in the public domain.
Now have strong desire to board a rocketship to Venus.
Perhaps Elon Musk is planning to offer them soon.
Hence why I stated that they were novels, Einstein.
Yet you posted it as some sort of argument supporting a conspiracy theory. I am no Einstein but can still see the fallacy of your post.
You are an asshat who jumped on me with a snarky asshat post looking for a fight. Now you’re on my Ignore List. This is just a final courtesy response to you.
