Voting for Bernie in the Super Primary
Me | Monday, March 2, 2020

I'm thinking of voting for Bernie Sanders in the primary tomorrow. His shellacking in the general election would help Democrats repudiate the far left.

I couldn’t do it. I was more interested in voting to get some good conservatives on the down ballot.

Yeah, now that the Democrat machine has made it’s move toward Biden, I think it’s time for Bernie to surge. Maximize chaos!

I thought about voting for him in our March 10 primary. However, I've become more and more wary of how rabid his supporters are.

If he got the nomination and they got their forces mobilized, it could be trouble for our side (no matter how radical he is).

I'm more of the mind now to vote for Trump in the primary and hope Bernie does not get the nomination. That will result in a third party for him (split the dem ticket) or his mob will stay home altogether.

GMTA - I’m a registered Independent in OK so that allows me to request a D ballot tomorrow and go all Operation Chaos. Looking forward to the DNC this summer - ought to be a LMAO experience as they contort themselves to dodge the Bern...

Be careful playing that voting game.
Keep in mind that Bernie is almost as popular with his socialist group as the president is with his conservatives.
Never before now, have there been so many Americans ready to come out and openly support an avowed Socialist.

It’s not out of the question that Bernie could beat Trump in an election. No, it is not out of the question. All depends on voter turn out.

That’s fine with me if his supporters become rabid. Union workers in Michigan and Pennsylvania won’t support Sanders so Trump will win those two critical states, thus the presidency.

If you are in an open primary state and there is no big question on any “down ballot” republicans then by all means switch hit and vote for Bernie and the worse of any dem down ballot candidates. Bottom line is that it really far more important to ensure President Trump is reelected than any “down ballot” republicans.

Something to consider:

BernieBros are sociopaths, who are going to riot when they lose. They can lose in Milwaukee, at the convention, and burn one city, or lose nationwide, and burn the country.

Choose one.

here in WA state (March 10 primary)

missus and I voted for Crazy Bernie - he needs the biggest plurality for the convention.

he will sell out... but the it will be hard to justify if his delegate lead is yuge.

I'd like to see Trump come out Wednesday morning and announce, "There has been a new strain of coronavirus detected the the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, and Virginia. Anyone who voted in yesterday's primary is ordered by HHS to self-quarrantine for the next 48 hours while the CDC and WHO confirms."

Friday morning: "GOTCHA!" 😆

If you believe the stupidass polls, Warren, Biden, and Sanders all beat Trump.

What did we learn about stupidass polls?

I considered voting BS in the CA primary, but th3 prospect of him winning the Presidency, however remote, made me reconsider. I voted for Bloomberg, for maximum Operation Chaos.

I’m not just going by polls. Have you seen Bernie’s rallies?
No other Dem gets big noisy crowds like he does.
Of course I don’t want Bernie elected, but I’m trying to view the situation for what it is, not what I think he deserves.

No, they can’t burn the ‘country’, but they could trash the cities. They know they’d get their butts kicked elsewhere - even in Vermont.

All depends on voter turn out.

AND depends on COVID-19. It it really takes off, lots of sick people, we run out of ICU hospital beds, lots of dead and the MSM engineers a "Trump's Fault" narrative that sticks, then we could be in big trouble. I would hate to see this conveniently timed disease result in our first openly communist president who is intent on stealing everybody's savings and having the government nationalize major industries.

Cast your vote based on the 15% rule. The democrats changed their primary systems to proportional voting after the last election. So every candidate gets delegates based on their percentage. They put in a floor of 15%. To get delegates they must have at least 15% of the vote. My theory is that we want a contested convention with as many candidates as possible with delegates. If we vote for the candidate polling nearest to 15% in our state before the primary we can keep as many of them alive as long as possible. I say nearest to 15% because all polls have a margin of error. So a candidate polling 16.5% might only get 14.9% of the vote and fail to get delegates. By keeping as many of these losers alive as possible, hopefully all the way to the convention, we create disunity and distrust. Imagine if we could keep six candidates viable, Crazy Bernie, Mayor Pete, Liawatha, Bite Me, Klobuchar and mini-mike. The convention goes to a second or third vote. Deals get made, hopefully, several of them get screwed over. Disunity and an even bigger victory in November.

My district in Texas has no primary races of interest to me therefore I can indulge in this. By all means though if you have a chance to vote against the GOPe in the primary that is where you need to cast your ballot
