Javelin is a US-made, man-portable fire-and-forget anti-tank missile. It destroys bunkers, tank, trucks and low flying helicopters. When the gunner determines the target, coordinates are sent to the logic gob, which locks on the target. After launch and during flight the crew run like hell from the firing position. The missile is equipped with imaging infrared seeker to deliver an 8.4 kg tandem shaped charge. A precursor warhead detonates any ablative armor, then the primary warhead penetrates the base armor. Javelin is capable of destroying any main battle tank in the world today.

That’s because against front line Russian APS, unless you can mass-fire Javelins in packs of six or more from multiple compass points, you are not going to score a single penetrating hit. The only way this doesn’t happen is if the tank commander has it switched off or the tank is parked with no crew.

If you are into World War II tanks, I am reading Victor Davis Hanson’s book “The Second World Wars” and highly recommend it.
He gives an excellent comparative analysis of WW II tanks (he even goes into a little detail of the Abrams tanks of today), and other weapons, including battle ships and bombers, infantry weapons, etc, etc. It is not boring at all.
It’s one of the best WW II books I’ve read.

If I hadn’t re-posted you that I had sent you something about Victor Davis Hanson’s book, you would probably not have acknowledged it at all.
Your reply was “Yup, it’s on my reading list” is a poor excuse for an acknowledgement and shows no gratitude at all.
You need a lesson on common courtesy and politeness.
