The Sessionistas are still spinning. As I recall it took months for the Y2K’ers to admit that the lights never went out.

I believe that there was much heavy lifting done with heavy $$$ and manpower to avoid all sorts of Y2K issues.

Sigh.... The lights never went out because a BUNCH of people like me spent the better part of a year identifying and FIXING computer related issues BEFORE They caused a problem.

I had a team of 6 people, working for a year, spending nearly $15M to make sure my chemical complex kept running. And still, I was as nervous as hell all day and night on Dec 31, 1999.
