It wasn’t just over a soda.

The customer clearly provoked the fight first with throwing the milkshake at her, and then with picking up a tray and slamming it into the manager’s face as hard as she could.

The customer got what she asked for.

She started a fight but didn’t finish it.

And she went back for more and then when the manager finally walks away, she FOLLOWS the manager, apparently still shooting her mouth off.

The customer didn’t throw the milkshake until the McDonald’s employee came after her and it was obvious the customer was about to be assaulted.

Wrong.

The employee simply walked to the counter and then the customer let loose.

The employee didn't touch her until after the girl threw the milkshake in her face and then smacked her in the face with a tray as hard as she could.

Was to me. She was aggressively moving quickly towards the customer.

You are reading intent into it that isn't there.

You cannot prove that her walking to the counter was indicative of an upcoming assault.

“You are reading intent into it that isn’t there.”

How would you know?? I guess you’re just another mind reader??

Your opinion is just that.

Because of your words.

I’m not mind reading when you claim the employee went forward with the intent to assault.

YOU said it.

And if the girl truly thought she was in danger, then she should have LEFT and called the police.

Never said the customer was in the right...I said the employee acted wrongly. The correct action would have been to call the police. This employee likely will cost her employer thousands of dollars because she could not control her emotions and she will be rightfully be fired!!!

Milkshake thrown in her face and then slammed in the face by a metal tray.

Big girl then decided it was time to teach a lesson. Good for her.

Okay, now the big question:

Who wins? Big Samoan McDonald's employee....

Or table-throwing, chair catching Big Mama?

Damn that woman is good.

Any big 10 university who didn’t get that woman on her shot put team is a loser.

She is good. She moves her purse from one arm to the other while she hurls that 8’ table across the room.

How did her ancestors ever get sold into slavery. She is impressive.

I’ll give the McDonald’s employee credit for calling shenanigans on soda theft. I’ll bet it happens all the time everywhere.

Almost everyone I know goes back for refills (on a paid drink), too. I’m one of those losers that thinks one cup entitles you to one drink at that size and no more.

It is never appropriate for an employee to use violence against a customer in a non life threating or injury situation...that's what the police are for.

These days, you can keep your cool, do all the right things, call the cops—and still lose your job because the offended party creates a national Twit(ter)storm over it.

It's an old, sad story. A stronger tribe defeated a weaker tribe and sold them off to another tribe that had gold…and guns.

Me too. If only one drink is given with the order I don’t try to get more than what I pay for.

That seems true at times. The worker at Starbucks who called the police ended up leaving the company. Maybe big girl could have called the police, but still lost her job because of an unhappy customer. As it is, big girl and the other worker are both going to lose their jobs, if they haven’t already.

She got tossed around like a rag doll. And big girl didn’t break a sweat.
