Fake news tweets and social media posts that flooded the internet leading up to the 2016 presidential election came from a Russian troll factory that works around the clock like any IT facilityexcept lies were pumping out to control the American mind and put Donald Trump in the White House.
The Internet Research Agency, which works on behalf of Russia inside a guarded, concrete building in St. Petersburg, has day and night shifts and hundreds of former journalists and bloggers creating thousands of posts with false and controversial information to reach certain quotas
It was "a merry-go-round of lies," Vitaly Bespalov, 26, who worked at the agency, told NBC News. "When you get on the carousel, you do not know who is behind you and neither you are aware of who is in front of youbut all of you are running around within the same circle.
Early this month, Twitter testified before Congress and provided the Senate Intelligence Committee with more than 2,700 accounts tied to the agency, while Facebook identified more than 80,000 pieces of content linked to the agency. Meanwhile, Google found about $4,700 worth of search-and-display ads with dubious Russian ties....

Obviously these news outlets and reporters aren’t intelligent enough to be commenting on these topics.
And of course the felon had been so tough on them (having someone actually COUNT the $140 million before okaying the uranium deal) the Russians wanted no part of her as POTUS.
If I may: “The NBC Sex Video with the
pu$$¥ grabbing remarks elected Trump,” and “The 9 lying bimbos, led by the former Apprentice woman lying her butt off elected Trump.” But IMHO, the lying disdain of the rats and GOPe for us dolts in flyover country REALLY elected Trump.
Yep. Off topic, but the Giulia looks nice, especially the Quadrofoglio.
There is No damned way they wanted Trump to win especially after what he was saying!
My exact feelings...needs to be repeated on EVERY damn thread!
Fake news about fake news.
We think articles like this one are stupid. They are not. They are Evil. They are a manifestation of the Left’s inibility to lose. They fight no matter how rediculous their position or tactic. This is why there will be war or submission.
Why would Putin want an uncontrollable Donald Trump in the White House when he already had a compromised candidate in Hillary Clinton given her graft related to uranium?
Mexico had a greater impact on our election, with their former presidente publicly campaigning and impuning Donald Trump.
Compared to what the American people, the major American party election campaigns, all the independent American political activist groups & organizations, the major U.S. parties and all their candidates, as well as the U.S. media & the U.S. social media companies were doing, collectively, to influence the American people, the activity of the Russians was a tiny drop in the bucket and it’s weight, no matter what opinions it represented, was not material to determining the election outcome.
So why do we spend gazillions on advanced military and intelligence systems if a couple of Russian tweets can turn our whole country around? How come our own NSA or CIA can’t do that to Russia or China or Iran? What’s wrong with them?
Clearly there needs to be a big investigation and shake-up in the Defense and Intelligence Departments to find out why we are wasting so much money.
That about sums it up. 8>)
Nor can Newsweek name a single changed vote.
I don’t think the Rooskies got their money’s worth...
don’t those Russians know that “pumping out lies to control the American mind” is the job of our own media? How dare they do that.
I voted for:
-law and order
-a DC outsider
-a pro constitutionalist
-a successful businessman who seemed more qualified in resolving our massive debt issues
-a person that speaks to the makers of this nation — not the takers
-a person that would place our nation's priorities before their own
-someone who could take a punch and deliver them back twice as hard
-a strategic long-term planner
-someone to reduce wasteful spending
-a tax cutter, for everyone who pays taxes
-someone to promote job creation without cherry-picking which companies will benefit
-someone that won't bow to dictators
-anyone who wouldn't sell out our interests to the highest bidder
-a pro 2nd amendment defender
-a pro defense candidate
-a person that truly honors the men and women that defend our nation
-someone to take the fight to our enemies and fight to win
-someone to hold accountable the persons who have conspired to harm our nation's citizens, interests, and liberties for personal gain
-someone that sees through the lies we've been told for too long and exposes them for all to see
-a person to end the weaponized use of government resources against its own citizens
-a rational person that avoids hysteric decision making
-someone with incredible problem solving experience
Not one of the above involved anyone or anything related to Russia. Hillary spoke to none of my desires, hardships, or concerns. She lost my vote because she's was the wrong man for the job.
I'd have considered her if I thought electing a feeble, bull-dyke, selective memory, criminal, feminist sociopath who crumbles at the sight of stairs would have solved even one of my concerns.
I wonder how much the DNC, the Hillary Campaign, and related front groups spent on trolls, bs ads, and fake news. Add to that the cost to CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, NPR, and hundreds of leftist websites for spewing 24/7 Trump-hate. >$4,700 ?.
Jessica Kwong, whoever she/he/it is, is insane.
I never saw one online ad for or against Trump or Pickles Clinton.
And why would the Russians want Trump? The main export of Russia is oil and gas, so why would the Russians support a man who wants to greatly expand the U.S. oil and gas industry and “drill baby drill?” Madame Hillary would have ended fracking and greatly hampered U.S. oil and gas production.
Also, why would the Russians support Trump, a man who wants to build up the U.S. military?
The liberals are crazy.
