He felt he needed to take notes to protect himself. (snipp).
Being much concerned he had Richman spill to the NY Times.
Richman swears (he) never has seen the memo, he was just remembering what he had been told about it. (snipp)

Am I right? ; )
It could have been that Trump know who unmasked whom and when.
If it was known Trump recorded the conversations without permission?
There never was a “memo”, per se...it’s a cover story concocted by the tag-team of Comey and Mueller. I’m sure one has been fabricated, after the fact.
Maybe it’s hidden with obamas birth certificate and college records?
Any day now Comey will say he hid the memos in a pumpkin patch.
He’s a Hiss in Chambers’ clothing.
Richman swears (he) never has seen the memo, he was just remembering what he "had been told" about it. (snipp) ...
vs.
LANKFORD: The individual that you told about your memos, that then sent on to the New York Times -- do they have a copy of those memos, or were they told orally of those memos?COMEY: Had a copy -- had a copy at the time.
LANKFORD: Do they -- do they still have a copy of those memos?
COMEY: That's a good question. I think so.
That is my current thoughts. Trump has the unmasking info and the leakers are scared witless he will use it.
This is a very important and relevant statement.
I have seen it posted here on FR several times since Comey was fired, but have never seen a source and I have looked high and low and can't find an article or statement to that fact.
Can anyone please clear it up? Thanks!
The “created on” and “modified on” time/date metadata would prove he lied under oath. Paper copies don’t show he was a liar.
There are no memos.
Anybody else suspect Comey dictated his memo to his deputized assistant ‘SIRI’ and then ‘forgot’ to permanently save the recording? Forwarded that ‘memo’ to Richman, who forgot to save it, also?
Wouldn’t every doc created by Comey, either on his laptop or his desktop, be saved directly to the same central server in a data center?
Would he understand that? Many people don’t, and it only becomes obvious when the data center server goes offline.
Sure he could’ve purposely saved it to his local hard drive. Then the question becomes would that be against FBI regulations and policies?
Is there a way that a global IT policy can be set to disallow locally saved docs? I don’t work in that area of IT so I don’t know.
Agree. There are no memo’s.
Unless he wrote one when he woke up in the middle of the night.
His dramatic statement is a tell all sign.
Suddenly.......he woke..........omg..........the drama of it all. GMAB
That’s why I’m saying that if it isn’t in his computer and in FBI records at the time Comey claims it was created, for all purposes it doesn’t exist.
If Comey did write this memo, as he has stated under oath, and then along the way he deleted them, that is a crime. It is a crime for a law enforcement official to destroy evidence.
I am convinced that Comey knew that Trump knew he was the leaker- so he was forced to admit what an embarrassing coward he is.
Otherwise, if he had denied leaking it, he would have been confronted with the question about the college professor and the leak to NYTimes.
That’s what it LOOKED like to me.
It reminded me of when my children KNEW that I knew what they were up to, so they had better not lie to me and admit it first.
And Seth Rich!
It’s a laptop. Isn’t it likely he traveled with it?
Exactly.
Also, as soon as Comey was fired, they could’ve cut off his access to the FBI servers and downloaded every doc he ever saved.
That right there has got to be a treasure trove!
Can anyone please clear it up? Thanks
I’ve only ever seen an extensive speculation.
