The latest Fox News poll shows 68 percent of Americans say President Obama should not pardon Hillary Clinton on his way out of the White House, and I agree. Donald Trump should do it.
One his very first day, with his very first pen, President Trump should sign his very first presidential proclamation: “We must put the politics of the past aside and unify our country. Therefore, for the many, many crimes and misdeeds she committed while Secretary of State, I hereby pardon Hillary Rodham Clinton." The left will never forgive him.
It's counterintuitive, I know. According to the poll, a paltry eight percent of Republicans want Hillary pardoned—but they're just short-sighted. I would ask the 87 percent who oppose putting Hillary in the same company as Marc "Most Wanted" Rich and Richard Nixon: Who are the only people who need a pardon?

I see the GOPe is already going to bat for their girl.
Meanwhile, the Clintons skate, having thrown almost everyone in D.C. under the bus. They'll start cutting deals to get the Clintons prosecuted.
Then, later on but before the 2020 elections get going, arrest the big players in the democrat party, including Hillary. Try running a campaign with the top tier of your party always on TV defending themselves in court.

I could see it if she’d just fade away and never be a problem again. If she would be a good girl after a pardon, then maybe it would be a good move to get the country to heal.
But that is not Hillary. She’s not all there, she’s a sore loser, she will be in the perpetual campaign mode, she will do whatever is possible to make Trump’s presidency a nightmare.
Couple Hillary with obama, and it’s a nightmare squared.
Trump needs to just get it over with. Get the riots over with, get people prosecuted, get them in jail. Do not drag it out. Take action his first week in office.
Now even in jail, they will never go away, but convictions for several crimes would put the mass on Trumps side.
I think he’s right...it would infuriate her and confuse the useful idiots. Moreover, she could still be sent to jail by state and local prosecutors for criminal violations of laws relating to nonprofits, etc. I don’t know that pardoning her would ultimately be a good idea, but the author’s suggestion is amusing. Of course, on the whole, I’d much rather see her sent to prison for violation of the Espionage Act, etc, for the rest of her life. I’d especially like it if she had to share a cell with Bill, with Huma and Weiner in an adjoining cell just out of reach.
Or not. Be a banana republic and either ignore her crimes because she is a Clinton, or pardon her without indictment.

You’re comparing apples and oranges. Fox News is more likely to get conservative respondents and a lot less votes were cast for that poll than the 127 million + cast in the Presidential election.

I don’t think that’s the underlying assumption in the article, it would be more that she owes her freedom to Trump and having to live under the pardon “cloud”. i.e. it’s the “burn, not the “guilt”.
But I don’t think there is likely to be either a prosecution or a pardon. Prosecution might not work out and she probably wouldn’t accept a pardon anyway.
OTOH, how long do you think HRC can go without committing a Federal offense?
Want to drive Hillary insane? Bring Chelsea Clinton up on charges of fraud for using the Clinton Foundation as a political money laundering tool which sold favors to foreign governments in exchange for access to Clintons White House. To make it worse, arrest Cheryl Mills and anyone else on Clinton’s political team who worked for the Foundation.
Include criminal charges for every media person who donated to the foundation. And better yet, hold the network accountable.
That’s how you destroy the Clintons.
IMHO Trump should distance himself from the matter entirely. It’s not political revenge and the wheels of Justice will ground them all to powder. The AG should run with the ball.

He needs to leave some of them hanging over her head, and specify what they are, things like not turning in her keys to the State Department when she left and stealing the furniture and silverware and theft of the missing $6,000,000,000 from the State Department. (I do not know if she stole the keys... The 6 billion...who knows? Just tell her she needs to pay it back or it will be sent to collection. )
Instead, explicitly pardon her for taking a bribe and conveying Uranium mining rights to the Russians. At the same time he should Pardon Putin for Hacking her server and bribing her to take the mining rights. There. Its all good!
Court order locking all funds globally related to the Clinton foundation, CGI .... lock their funds up and allow (encourage) civil lawsuits against them for fraud, deaths, damages to character ....
I would also put a bounty out to civil servants to do their damn job (FBI, CIA and IRS) but only for the truth.
Nope. Being a convicted felon with the lost rights that comes with and spending a few years in Club Fed would drive Hilary nuts. A Trump pardon would just be something for her to spin. “See, he feels guilty for asking the Russians to steal the election from me.”
