HISTORY knows him as an evil Nazi monster — but Adolf Hitler was quite happy camping it up in the woods.
This rare archive picture shows him in lederhosen and knee-high socks lounging against a tree.
Unsurprisingly, the Fuhrer banned the snap — and several taken by his personal photographer in the late 1920s — calling it "beneath one's dignity". In another shot Hitler tilts his head and tries a mean and moody stare to camera, topped off by a military cap.
He never wore the hat again.

All I posted was the fact that some jewish bankers on the cocktail circuit in the 1920’s make headlines over in England and France bragging about their funneling information to British intelligence sources and you guys think I’m a flamming Nazi. You are all so shallow and again this public knowledge if you look hard enough for it. Was it truth or just pompus bragging by socialites of high society but the Nazi’s and Hitler saw the jews as a domestic threat as a result. Ok, so not the Soviets on this one, but I think the photographer must have doctored that one photo pretty good, probably more than just overexposing part of the photo. The head is so out of proportion, it seems like a composite with another photo.

Have you ever lived in Israel (from 200-2006 for 24-months) as I have for two years? Nuff said wacko’s.
Just had to say, my old man flew fighter escort on some of the thousand-bomber raids that destroyed Hamburg and Cologne, and I’m proud that he did. It was worth any price to eradicate the Nazis.

WWI ended with the complete capitulation of Germany, as attested by the Treaty of Versaille. The actual fighting stopped with the armistice of 11/11/1918 at the 11th hour, but the surrender of Germany was unconditional, just as it was for the Axis in WWII. That and the Treaty of Versaille were, IMO, the proximate causes of Hitler’s rise to power and WWII. Which happened when the great American socialist/progressive, Woodrow Wilson managed to drag us into a European conflict that, left alone, would have petered out with just some changes to the map of Europe and only minor changes to status quo ante.
Socialism/progressivism led directly to the subsequent horrors of the Soviet Union, Germany, Japan, then Korea, Vietnam and today’s mid-East. In my never to be humble opinion, could we go back in time and eliminate just one individual to spare the world most of the horror of the twentieth century, persuading Wilson’s mother to abort Woodie would be the almost perfect solution.
I grew up in a town that was aout 30% Jewish. It was not unusual to see parents, grand-parents, uncles, aunts, etc. at my friends houses who had the tattood fore-arms.
In 1979 I was commissioned to write a short fund-raiser film for the Holocaust Musuem. I interviewed a number of survivors who had spent their childhoods in the 'care' of Jumper's buddies.
There's nothing like hearing a woman tell the story of being sodomized by a guard at the age of nine...of killing another girl with a knife at the age of eleven so that she could steal a potato to give to her sick sister (who was gassed a month later anyway). An eleven year old murdering another child for a potato --- one of Herr Jumper's "hungry mouths to feed" that the Germans were so afraid of.
These people told me all I ever need to know about Herr Jumper's poor mis-understood compadres.
For those irrational guys looking to slander me, I spent 20-years as a paratrooper and 8 more as a diplomat, so I understand the shallowness of callow rants/raves. My wife was the America representative to Israeli Govt for the Arrow Missile Program heading up the US Army field office in Tel Aviv. I am the last person to hate the chosen people of the bible or support crimes against humanity, and the diplomatic side of my experience understands the irrational feelings and one-sidedness the comes from people dealing with subjects they have neither researched but have strong opinions none the less. I have to agree... but it was Germanys belief that the war would remain “European” in character... no reason for isolationist USA to enter...which caused great concern from France and Britain. With Russian capitulation, the loss of the Eastern Front, and a German increase of some million men to the Western Front, it was evident that the stalemated war would continue for many more years...
Coveting is a blood thirsty violation of the ten commandments and has clear consequences of public supported and state sponsored mass murder from Hitler to Stalin and Mao. Hundreds of millions have been murdered in the name of leftists coveting their dehumanized neighbors’ goodness. This is why it is frightening to hear leftists today claim that the Jewish bankers and corporate CEO’s are ripping off and betraying America while elitists are calling for “change” to create a state killing machine - a centralized economic and police machinery. Likewise, diversity doctrines target rich and middle class white people and Christians for dehumanization and economic jealously - taking on a Stalinist hue.
Thank goodness Americans have done a good job keeping the memory of Hitler's evil alive in future generations but we have failed to assign it to the sin of coveting and we have failed to keep the memory of Stalin's and Mao's mass murder alive as well.
This failure has allowed communism to flourish once again among European and American elitists. As long as leftist leaders don't publicly target the “rich Jews” for their hate and jealously, we act as if it is harmless when they dehumanize and stoke economic jealously among other groups of Americans whom leftists would love to oppress and murder with centralized police power and control. (In my study of diversity hate doctrines, I have found one uniting doctrine of economic jealously is hating Jews among Hispanics and blacks.)
The modern day leftist ambition of controlling and policing the whole globe is nothing new to history's leftist mass murderers either. America's safety valve is the constitution’s scattering of power and individual rights. We must not permit the elitists to trash it and violate it for centralized cultural, police and economic power.
As God made coveting one of the big TEN rules for human life, it is not surprising to see the bloody consequences of an ideology (Marxism/fascism) and government machinery built on coveting.
We see the mass murder in Nations that take up coveting as a political cause and governing organization, or as liberals say, “American values” and “social justice”, over and over again. It is sickening that many Catholics and Christians have not figured this out yet.
