By "popular uprising," Ms Piven means an uprising by Eric Holder's people.
Eric Holder's people are a minority and by definition would not constitute a "popular uprising.
If there were a true "popular uprising," it is quite possible that Ms. Piven would not be among the survivors.

There are more of us than them. Appears to be the Hippie Revolution all over again. Didn’t work then and won’t work now. They may have had the edge on public opinion in the 60’s & 70’s with regard to the Viet Nam war, but they are on the down side of opinion with regard to Socialism being something we want in this country right now. The JackAss in the White Office has to go along with his band of merry men.

What these asshats don’t realize..well there is a lot the run of the mill useful idiot doesn’t realize but the organizers and the “brains” of these operations don’t realize — this crap never worked one time and the only reason it was as tolerable and lasted as long as it did in so many places is because the American free enterprise system enabled it. Many of us geezers see the 60's and the aged Marxist-Alinsky campus spoiled brats and their ideological issue jumping in to take advantage of what I suppose is this generation's draft resisters.
I do not mean to insult universal service requirements (the Draft) but I think it's fair to say that there are those who do not want to be "drafted" into the ranks of the long-term unemployed. They can be used.
So.. our right of demonstrating will be used by the 60's aged Marxist-Alinsky campus spoiled brats and their ideological issue to turn into violent and deadly rioting.
Like the '60s it matters not the race or economic status of the demonstrators. The Left radicals can incite almost anyone to violence.
