Sarah Palin on “The Bob & Mark Show” in Alaska at 930am PST 9/16/11?

In the final episode of “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” on TLC — which Governor Palin herself produced and had complete creative control over — the Governor promised to let Bob and Mark know, on the air, when she decides to run for president. Since the Governor personally chose to have that bit included in the episode, there has to be a reason for this.

“The Bob and Mark Show” broadcasts Monday through Friday. Though tomorrow is Constitution Day, today’s when Constitution Day is observed in most of the country. It’s also a day when “The Bob and Mark Show” broadcasts.

Many believe the Governor will announce her presidential bid on the show today — since she appears to indeed be scheduled as a guest at 930am PST…which is 1130am CST and 1230pm EST.

I have no idea what will happen on the show, but I’m going to tune in just in case.

If you hear anything else pertaining to this, please share the info in this thread.

It sure is interesting the Governor is booked on this show, today of all days, since restoring respect for the Constitution is one of the main planks in what’s presumed to be the Governor’s presidential platform.

Tune into “The Bob & Mark Show” to see what happens!

********************************************************

PS: I’ve been trying for a few weeks now to determine if Governor Palin has any public events scheduled for Constitution Day (observed today, or tomorrow 9/17/11). I have not been able to turn up anything, which is intriguing in itself.

We don’t know what this means yet — if anything — but I’m sure going to listen to “The Bob & Mark Show” to see if she’s really going to be on, and to listen to what the Governor says if she does in fact appear on the show.

****************************************************************

UPDATE: It looks like the source of this rumor is Simon Conway, who is a drive time radio host in Iowa, who said on Facebook that he saw something posted at a Palin supporting group about the Bob & Mark appearance before it was taken down. Conway seems like he wanted to be the first to say she was going to announce today, so he would get the attention that would come with that.

Looking at the GOP schedule of debates, though, I don’t know what to think to be honest. Rick Perry loses more steam every debate, and the next debate is not until September 22nd. It sure keeps with Governor Palin’s past announcements to declare her candidacy on a symbolic day like Constitution Day…but it also seems like part of her strategy to keep allowing Perry to further implode before she joins the race.

We all know the moment Governor Palin announces, she’ll be the sole focus, and guys like Perry won’t get the vetting and media attention they need as her opponents.

The debate after the 22nd is in October, on a day when the Governor is scheduled to give a speech on economics in Korea. Technically, she could fly back in time to participate in the debate, since she’d make up time on the 14 hour flight back to the States, though I don’t know if she’d be inclined to do this.

It seems odd for her to participate in the September 22nd debate, but then skip the one on October 18th, and then rejoin the group a debate after that…unless her intention is to begin participating in the debates after the 18th.

That would give her opponents two appearances on the stage without her to attack her, and I don’t see her allowing that to happen though.

I think even the Governor’s detractors need to admit she’s a masterful strategist who keeps everyone guessing. She really brings great excitement to American politics. Honestly, my boyfriend Justin asked what I was typing so late and I told him, and now he’s too excited to sleep and has actually woken his mother up in Arkansas to tell her to listen to this radio show. I told him not to do this, but he’s excited at the mere prospect of Governor Palin announcing today.

I don’t think even Mittens Romneycare’s own family are excited by anything he does. Let alone complete strangers.

Can you imagine someone like Justin calling his mother long distance in the middle of the night, waking her up, just to tell her there’s a chance Mitt Romney could be on an obscure radio show in Alaska later that morning — and that she would be excited and happy he did this?

I don’t think she will announce her run for President of the United States on something called the ‘Bob and Mark Show.’ That’s the last thing she needs, perception-wise.

I predict IF Palin runs, it will be a third party attempt.

I guess anything is possible, but I’m not holding my breath. I’d love for her to run but am a bit tired of getting jerked around.

Sarah does, what Sarah does.

She's on record of saying that she would. It's one of her favorite radio shows in Alaska...

"If there is going to be some big national announcement I'm going to do it where it's most worthy. I'm going to do something big, even bigger than Glenn Beck. It's going to happen on the Bob and Mark show,"

It's your expectations that have been jerking you around. Don't project.

I heard about this from the VET, but since it wasn't confirmed didn't post about until now.

I have no way to add confirmation, but if Sarah is going to announce in the affirmative, I will send her my long saved $1,000 and have a celebration with my pal, Johnnie Walker.

If she declines to run, me and my pal Johnnie will do a New Orleans style funeral, get over our grief and next week try to pick a different candidate.

If it's only a rumor, I'll wait.

Aruanan beat me to the punch, even though I'd say it differently.

I like Palin, alot, but have mixed feelings on a Palin candidacy. Meanwhile, it's a long way to the GOP convention, and further still to the general election. From my point of view, the entities doing the "jerking around" are the media and commentators. That includes commentators from the peanut gallery, like me ;-)

I hope you're not into gambling.I saw this for a number of reasons.

The primaries will be a slug fest. I don't thin Palin wants to engage in or be recipient of what will ultimately happen as the candidates jockey for attention and differentiation. Thus I believe she won't enter the primaries. It will be just too messy.

Palin wants to be in control. A 3rd party run will allow her to do that. Plus, she will have an advantage over the battered and tainted R that did go through the primary process described above, especially if it is a less than "pure" selection.

She will capitalize on being "anointed" to save the country with her 3rd party attemtp.

Please note the date of the article is September 13, 2010.

When reading it I saw a reference to Joe Miller's senate candidacy then looked at the date.
