Sarah Palin is a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN
Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama ISN'T!
I don’t think she will announce her run for President of the United States on something called the ‘Bob and Mark Show.’ That’s the last thing she needs, perception-wise.
I have no way to add confirmation, but if Sarah is going to announce in the affirmative, I will send her my long saved $1,000 and have a celebration with my pal, Johnnie Walker.
If she declines to run, me and my pal Johnnie will do a New Orleans style funeral, get over our grief and next week try to pick a different candidate.
If it's only a rumor, I'll wait.
Now let’s say Sarah Palin doesn’t announce today, when does she announce?
It will NOT be between Sept 28-Oct 8 because of the Jewish holiday.
It will NOT be on Sept 17, 18, 24 or 25 because Bob & Mark don’t work on the weekend.
It won’t be on Sept 23 for that is the day of the Palestinian vote at the UN and is certain to dominate the weekend news cycle.
So it’s either next week or early the following week.
Now playing devil’s advocate why would Sarah Palin choose the 19th, 20th, 21st or 22nd over the significance of Constitution Day? Can anyone think of something more significant on those days?
Now if you say Sept 26, couldn’t the Palestinian story still be a hot topic or could the vote even get delayed to the 26th or sometime the following week?
And if Palin choose Sept 27, remember the International Date Line. It will already be the 28th in Israel.
So if she doesn’t announce in September (which she had promised to do or at least said she would do) that leaves it to after October 8.
But then she is slated to fly to Korea a couple days after that so I don’t see her announcing then.
So we are already up to the middle of October.
Do you really think Palin is going to wait to the middle of October to announce? I don’t.
I’ve always doubted hillbuzz truly supports Palin.
I saw this RUMOR when it first popped up last evening. It was from a questionable souce, it was second or third-hand (”from someone inside the Palin camp”), it was unsubstantiated, it was conveniently placed on several unofficial Pro-Palin sites, and it drew a great deal of attention to one radio show.
I told a number of people last night that NOWHERE was there any kind of official word about this. Sarah Palin hadn’t said anything. NONE of the officials, stations, or principal people that would have had to be involved said anything publicly — even though there were FALSE reports that “people at the station said” or “someone in the Palin came said...” And I made clear to everyone (1) DON’T run with this until you hear from Sarah herself, and (2) DON’T blame Sarah if it turns out to be untrue, as she had NOTHING to do with it.
And yet, some on this thread take the opportunity to bash Sarah Palin anyway. It figures. What does Sarah have to apologize for? She didn’t start the RUMOR. Go to the unreliable source. Sarah Palin has no responsibility to answer for a rumor she had nothing to do with starting.
Sarah Palin has made clear, numerous times, that she is praying about, discussing with family and considering entering the Presidential race — but that she will announce a decision by the end of September. She knows the current circumstances, the time constraints and the commitments she’s made. I think she can be trusted to keep her word — and the fact is, if she doesn’t announce something by Sept. 30th, the deadline for fin]ling for the Iowa Caucus will pass, and that would cripple any real shot at a candidacy anyway.
So, chill with the harsh words for Lady Palin. Truth is, looking at the current crop of Republican Candidates, Sarah stands head and shoulders above every other current candidate in integrity, principle, ideology and identification with common American citizens. I really believe we should be hoping she runs — or we might be in for a LONG 4 years after then next election....
I love Sarah, but I don’t think she’ll run...she has plenty of time to wait. Better to be an influence on the process this time around.
So, to boil it all down, in retrospect, the quitter was a no show.
Today is perhaps the most important day in American history and Gov Palin’s announcement of her running for POTUS could arguably be the most crucial announcement, for the future of the world.
