Bristol Palin didn't stay too long in her house 35 miles south of Phoenix in Maricopa. A real estate agent has confirmed the daughter of possible presidential candidate Sarah Palin is renting out the 4,000 square foot house.

Bristol is 20 and as this thread reveals, she might be looking to see if she has a career in media or entertainment, so far she has made several 100s of thousands of dollars on that career path, and it has been less than a year. Now the 20 year old is looking to lease out her 4,000 sq. foot, two level home that she earned on this career path so far to go and work on her next project, that doesn’t seem stupid to me.

A few bucks? I don’t think so, this is a well paid career gamble.

I’m just curious of who DonaldC thinks she is distracting whoever from, Romney? Obama? The media?

Bristol Palin wouldn't be famous if it weren't for her Mom.

Now she's going to LA as a single Mom to move in with 2 men (nice example for your son there, Bristol) to get more involved in Hollyweird?

And people are saying it's OK because she'll make 10's of thousands of dollars?

Ugh. No class. VERY cheesy.

Is that the Globe, or the Enquirer that you study to get these fine decent rumors that you create?

What did Chelsea Clinton have for lunch, by the way?

Her husband, probably.

With all the coverage of Bristol Palin, why doesn't the MSM spend the same energy on the collapsing marriage of Chelsea Clinton, now that her husband reportedly left her to become a ski bum in Colorado?

Trust me. What DU/Dems/MSM have planned for her is waaaay worse than anything I could ever imagine. Better put your big boy pants on because Michele is in for a rough ride.

Unless Bristol is as sharp and smart as her mom, which I doubt, she may be setting herself up to be "chewed up and spit out" by that nasty real world machine

We shall see. Time will tell.

What is that Bristol does that is bad, how is she like Reagan’s children?

I didn't use the word 'bad' - you did. I referred specifically to Ron Reagan, not Michael or Maureen, although Patti was a handful in her day. Ron went out of his way to oppose his father's conservative Republican politics, both during and after his famous father's presidency. Even now, Ron remains a very vocal liberal.

Bristol Palin conceived a child out of wedlock. That had to be embarrassing for her Christian parents, even though it was handled quite well. Now, Bristol is apparently planning to move into a house in L.A. to live with two men (brothers) and that situation will be used as the basis for a 'reality' TV show. I don't watch these types of shows but from what I've read, they seek conflict and that can get nasty. The fact that this young, unwed mother (and her baby) is moving in with two young men (presumably on a platonic basis), while perhaps considered 'normal' and benign in today's morality-free society, this must be a disappointment to her parents.

Does Bristol have 'a right' to pursue whatever opportunity she is presented with? Of course. Are her choices questionable? Yes. I don't give a rat's patoot what Bristol Palin does but as a supporter of Sarah Palin, I hate to see her headstrong daughter do things that I know the leftmedia will use to denigrate her mother. I half expect Bristol to start making noises about being a political liberal, any day now. However, that is every parents dilemma. You have to let 'the kids' grow up and be independent adults, even if they make poor decisions. This is such a case.

Turning down great paying TV jobs with a possibility of creating a well paid career would be stupid.

Why is this even news?

Well, based on the number of responses to my two-sentence post, if anything, it's controversial.

The Bush girls, Chelsea Clinton, and Amy Carter didn’t get knocked up and drop out of high school...

Maybe not, but Amy ran off with 60's radical hippie Abbie Hoffman. That couldn't have been good. I'm sure they weren't studying ways to improve social security.

“I’m just curious of who DonaldC thinks she is distracting whoever from, Romney? Obama? The media?”

I’m genuinely interested in anything “Palin”. I think this family is wonderful, mistakes and all.

At least they’re not hiding EVERYTHING about their past. By tracking the Palin’s every move, the news media is demonstrating that they ‘could have’ vetted Obama had they felt so compelled.

So the only reason that you have to compare Bristol with Ron Reagan, is that Bristol had premarital sex with her high school sweetheart.

No, it wouldn't if you other career options.

From Britney Spears to Lindsey Lohan, there are women whose lives have been destroyed seeking fame and fortune.

I don’t doubt that she is in for a rough ride.
She is not my first choice for POTUS.
It’s just this senseless character assassination of one of our Conservatives is uncalled for.
