Palin adviser worked for foreign governments

WASHINGTON - Sarah Palin, seen as a possible Republican presidential candidate, has paid tens of thousands of dollars for foreign policy advice to a U.S. firm that represents three overseas governments, campaign finance documents show.

While legal, the adviser’s work as an agent for other countries raises questions about whether Palin is receiving impartial information about foreign relations and could be become a subject of debate if she runs for president or another elected office.

Financial reports filed by the former Alaska governor’s fundraising committee known as SarahPAC, show that between December 2009 and the end of May 2010, it made seven payments to Orion Strategies.

The firm is a Washington consulting firm founded and led by Randy Scheunemann, a lobbyist who served as a senior foreign policy adviser to John McCain in his 2008 U.S. presidential bid and to Palin when she became McCain’s Republican running mate.

Controversy over campaign advisers who work as lobbyists for foreign or domestic interests can often blight national political campaigns. At least five of McCain’s aides quit his presidential campaign because of their lobbying activities.

This poll will have my liberal acquaintances in knots. Maybe in straitjackets.

I wonder how the Duncan Hunter/Mitt Romney/Ron Paul followers will feel about it?

I do? My argument is she is no conservative, not that she is unelectable. Obviously, the vast majority of presidents have been far from conservative. That’s why we are in a mess.

THAT makes your argument even more laughable.

Good night. Chunga, The Cajun and whatever you're imbibing will show you the Sand Man...LOL.

Of course I anticipate comments, Gunga Spin. But it takes a bit of gall to come on to a thread someone has posted and tell him to leave. Your RNC hacks are all alike.

Ah for the good old days when you could defend Rudy’s radicalism and Mitt the flip flopper. Alot of those people you used to argue with about one RINO or another are now on the same side as you, pushing an amnesty queen. You must feel some vindication.

Oh no!...I see your poking at the Palin supporters again again. Just have to live up to your name ;) looks like they’re all going to bed which is where I am headed soon,.

However, I am for Palin having foreign connections...she needs to know what’s going on from the inside...not what’s shoved down our throats from the media. Hey, if oh Billy Clinton and Carter can travel in foreign circles...and other questionable characters...I have no problem with Palin using whatever resources are avaiable to her.

The lamestream media, the leftwing comedy media, the Democrat Party and every liberal/progressive/socialist I know attack Palin's supporters as mental midgets, cultists, pathetic small-minded folk bitterly clinging to their guns, religion, morality and values.

And I attack them as mental midgets and cultists bitterly clinging to their Amnesty, LOST, feminism, Windfall profit taxes, and global warming. Quite a contrast, eh Dunga Spin?

Palin quit because (1) She couldn't take the heat, and also because (2) she saw the opportunity to make more money.

Lies and more lies.

Ah...thanks for unmasking this one. I thought he was just grandstanding, but it appears he has a problem with women. Too bad we can’t all get on the same page with respect to who the real enemy is. It’s going to be the death of us.

So Palin’s getting foreign policy advice from people who work in the foreign policy field? Shocking that. It would be far preferable for her to get foreign policy advice from those who know nothing about it, eh? Brilliant, Pissant.

Americans from Right to Left are united on certain things. One of these things they are united on is that they don’t like their would-be leaders to be quitters. Palin is a quitter. Suck it up and find a worthy candidate instead.

Leave me alone. Got it? Post your ignorant BS to someone who gives a damn what you think.

One of these days Sarah will quit her McCain style waffling on what is and isn’t amnesty. I doubt her devotees ever will. I think she LIKES John McCain and his policies. Time will tell. I will be HAPPY if she actually ever opposes him or his advisers on ‘regularization’/’legalization’/registration.
Is Juan Hernandez advising her like he did McCain as well??

Time will tell, pissant, time will tell.
