So yeah, I'm getting sick and tired of how people are bashing Sarah Palin over her endorsement of McCain.
We all know why she's doing it and she has my complete respect and support.
So, anyway, conservatives are fighting amongst each other over this and it really is pathetic! On Sarah's Facebook page, people keep lamenting, whining and moaning over it, and I kept calmly trying to calm them down, but they wouldn't listen. Finally, I lost it and said:
"FOR GOD'S SAKE, PEOPLE, PULL YOURSELVES TOGETHER!!!!! THIS IS NOT HOW A GROUP OF PATRIOTS ACTS!!!!!!!!
SERIOUSLY, DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO BE 100% PERFECT IN YOUR EYES IN ORDER FOR THEM TO BE A VIABLE CANDIDATE???? LAST TIME I CHECKED, NO ONE IS!
SARAH PALIN IS THE BEST CHANCE WE HAVE TO UNSEAT OBAMA AND HIS FASCIST REGIME AND YOU'RE ALL HERE TOO BUSY ARGUING ABOUT ONE ENDORSEMENT!!!!!!!! THAT IS PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!
WE HAVE TO BE 100% UNITED IN ORDER TO DEFEAT THE SOCIALISTS!!!!!!! STOP GETTING INTO STUPID PETTY FIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SARAH ENDORSED MCCAIN! OK, DONE, NEXT ISSUE, PLEASE!!!!!!!"
I'm no military guy, but I do know that in a battle, you need to have a UNITED FRONT and petty arguments like this are dividing the front!
It is obvious that Sarah Palin is the only one who can defeat Obama and that we need to be united around her!
Palin needs to stop endorsing flaming socialist McAmnesty!
As far as Palin goes, I'm not even sure she's running. She endorsed McCain. That's a negative mark. She quit. That's another negative mark. She cleaned up some of the mess in Alaska. That's a positive. She practices what she preaches on the life issue. That's a big positive.
There's a cult of personality around her. That's a big negative with me. The bots and cults are dangerous to this country, from those who saw no wrong with Bush and his spending until it was too late, and those who are following Obama down the river.
I don't follow politicians. There are few leaders I follow. As my longtime tagline says, I don't look for leaders. I follow my own path, my way. I'm not voting for a Red Wings sports team. I'm voting for a president who can get the job done.
Is Palin that? Maybe. I'll look at her plans in 2012 if she runs and consider her, along with the other candidates, weigh out the good and the bad, and make a rational decision.
“If MeCain wins, Palin will own him.”
The only one who owns McCain is Soros.
Why is she doing it? I don't know.
Add to her negatives the fact that she already has a big media target painted on her. Partially her doing partially the fact that the media doesn’t want another Reagan anointed.
Why?
>>AuntB, I have seen dozens of threads with thousands of posts from FReepers telling me why Sarah Palin is doing this. I have yet to see Palin herself explain why she is doing this. I may have missed it but I have not seen her own words on why shes supporting a man who detests conservatives. She had plenty of time to rethink her position between the time she resigned and her stated support of McCain.<<
Don’t have time to read all 250+ comments so perhaps this has already been posted.
But here it is again. Sarah Palin’s article in the Arizona Republic on why she is supporting McCain:
http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/opinions/articles/2010/03/25/20100325palin26.html
In fact, I’m not sure why her article hasn’t been posted separately. I don’t know how to, or I would.
The big rally on FOX right now. LOL
......”I wish some other possible candidates would have the opportunity to step up and be heard”......
I can agree on that...by the time Bo finishes his ONLY term his agenda for changing this nation to a socialist/fasc. nation will have done great damage...just the health bill alone will cripple us. As Palin seems to more and more look like she may not run the question is who then can step up strong enough to oust Bo. McCain will not get that endorsement...he is done as a Pres. candidate.
I believe who the “it” person might be ,other than Palin, has yet to come out of the shadows.
Damn E-Star, you like living dangerously eh? LOL
I believe AZCentral is not allowed to be posted on FR. Thanks for the link. Doesn't change my mind about this. She's doing the wrong thing.
Mark my words. Michael Reagan will live to regret those words that he wrote rashly and in the heat of the ‘08 campaign.
You heard it here first.
Pretty good post until this:
>>Is Palin that? Maybe. I’ll look at her plans in 2012 if she runs and consider her, along with the other candidates, weigh out the good and the bad, and make a rational decision.<<
Are you saying that people who have studied Palin’s record and support her are irrational?
That sounds more like a Leftist smear than a rational comment.
I’m kind of nauseated over all the squabbling on the Right.
Civil War II was declared last Sunday. Look to the Left and see who your real enemies are.
Sarah has a political debt to pay to John McCain. Although such debts may not matter to us in the real world, they matter a lot in the world of partisan politics.
I absolutely agree that it’s time for McCain to retire, although he doesn’t know it yet. If I were in Arizona, I would certainly support Hayworth.
But in a general election, if the choice were between a GOP moderate and a RAT, there’s no way I could vote for the RAT.
As Ann Coulter said there are a lot of bad Republicans, but there are no good Democrats.
Except for Grover Cleveland, and he’s dead.
Moderates, almost by definition, have their fingers in the wind. If the nation’s political culture shifts decisively to the Right, you can bet that many GOP moderates are going to recover their lost courage on a host of issues.
That’s hardly an endorsement of their character. But we need all the votes we can get.
I saw someone who doesnt want political gain, but who will serve her country.
I'm not sold on that. She's a shrewd politician. That's not necessary a negative (Engler was one as well), but everyone has an agenda in politics.
At this point we need everyone on board that we can get to fight the true enemy - the democRATS.

Not trying to change your mind.
Just posting this to the many, many on here who keep whining that they haven’t heard what Palin has to say about why she’s supporting McCain.
Out of curiosity, why isn’t AZCentral not allowed? I’m not familiar with that history ...
Everyone is on board to fight the democrats. Or have you not noticed?
