Clarification: the first anecdote is separate from the second towards the end of the article. Still, accounts like this are amazing.

Why is it that God’s protection is not considered, but rather some “St.” that ostensibly has powers similar to God, but sits in heaven doing the work of God by watching over folks that carry his baseball card? Unbelievable idolatry.
I am happy the Capt. escaped injury, but he clearly doesn’t understand Who is really running the universe. And for all of the “Saint” seekers, it ain’t “them”.

let’s see the diversity police try to confiscate his prayer card.

The last sentance gave me chills. I gave hubby a Saint George medal before he left for that crappy country.

I purchased an Archangel Michael medal for my friend’s son when he was deployed to Afghanistan. He swears it kept him safe.

Wow! Liked the reference to St. Michael. The FoxNews URL makes no such reference. Thanks

About 7 pics down on my homepage is a pic of my nephew holding his helmet that took a direct hit, also. I won,t post it on this thread to avoid confusion with this Marine.

We should just have 10,000 obesrvant catholics carry St.Michael cards and we could end the war in a week.

He turned it over to display the picture card tucked inside, depicting Michael the Archangel stamping on Lucifer’s head. “I don’t need luck,” he said.

Wonderful. Great stories both.
