It's time.

No, I am not some crazy fringe lunatic. I am one of the most law abiding citizens around. I don't even have any moving traffic violations ever, in 40 years of driving, only a ticket once in college for an unnoticed (by me) expired inspection sticker. Never drank, never smoked, never tried drugs. I am the LAST person anyone would expect to say NO, NO MORE, NO WAY!!!

But it's time.

I served my country voluntarily for 31 years, and did my level best to give back to the Army and my soldiers more than they gave me. I have been awarded and decorated. I have served under Democrats and Republicans alike, with never a single disciplinary strike against me.

But it's time.

I started my small business from scratch and have provided jobs for lots of people along the way. I serve on the Chamber of Commerce and other civic organizations, and spent 18 years working with a nonprofit. I have dedicated myself to improving my community and making a positive impact, NOT making waves.

But it's time, and I CHOOSE LIBERTY.

If the powers that be in Washington can make law-and-order ME so uncomfortable with the direction they are taking that I am thinking of civil disobedience, then they don't know how close they are to a civil upheaval of the masses.

I will be the next "Rosa Parks", if that's what it takes. I will say NO, NO MORE, NO WAY!!! The government has NO RIGHT to MAKE me buy health insurance. The government has NO RIGHT to FINE me or JAIL me for NOT BUYING health insurance. Perhaps if people see government injustice happening to me so undeservedly, while standing up for my Constitutional rights, then they will be rallied to rise up and reclaim our government with freedom and liberty guaranteed once again.

It is time for me to ask my state to give serious consideration to SECESSION if the unconstitutional Washington power grab can not be stopped NOW. I will be on the phone Monday talking to everyone who will listen to try to get that started.

It is time to TAKE AWAY the voting rights of anyone who is not directly paying income/property taxes, so that all voters will have "skin in the game" as they say.

If you are a PRODUCER who WORKS for a living, move here to this state and WELCOME. If you are a TAKER --- GO AWAY!!! It's time to CULL THE HERD!!! Too many have taken advantage of this nation's largess for far too long.

We need to do away with WELFARE and other entitlements in this state and others, so that it will be a good place once again for PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY to grow and flourish. If someone isn't working and is in need, they had better hope they are attending a CHURCH or have FAMILY/friends that are willing to help them out, because it is NOT government's job to do it and we need to STOP it NOW!!!

It's time we stop government by bribery and prostitution:

Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., asked Madam Mary Landrieu of Louisiana if she would do IT for a 100 MILLION dollars.

Madam Landrieu of Louisiana replied "YES", she would do IT for a 100 MILLION dollars.

So Reid asked Madam Landrieu if she would do IT for one MILLION dollars.

Madam Landrieu replied, "What kind of a woman do you think I am?"

Reid answered, "We've already established that, now we're just negotiating the price!"

Madam Landrieu, you were bought and paid for, so don't quibble and blame others for the label you earned! And she wasn't the only one. But it wasn't even Majority Leader Harry Reid's money --- it was MY money and YOUR money that Harry Reid bought her with, and WE didn't get anything for that cash!!!

It needs to STOP here and now. We get LIFE, LIBERTY, and the PURSUIT of HAPPINESS --- and NOTHING ELSE. No More FREE RIDES!!!

Speak the TRUTH. No more political correctness. If you can't handle the TRUTH --- TOUGH. Find some other country to ruin, but I want my USA back!!!

I think you are right, however its the people who have voted in the anti freedom scumbags, but where did it start?

I vote against your freedom just because you may do something i don,t like and you vote against my freedom just because i do something you don,t like.

We have the bill of rights to keep us from doing that to each other, as the bill of rights are to protect the minority from the majority as far as our basic rights are concerned since this is a goverment by the people,

But the scumbags that represent us will ignore the law if it will get them votes.

You have made it plain that you live a perfect life, don,t smoke, don,t drink and etc, so i guess i would be a heathen to you, i have not drink for thirty years but i smoke and will keep on smoking even if it makes me a criminal.

Where do we get our values? after all did,nt Jesus drink a little wine?

I think we have done it to ourselves because of our being so self right, i have been that way so i guess i judge every one else by my self.

I do not see it getting any better, i see freedom as a thing of the past and i see satans socialism taking over.

I’m NOT perfect by a LONG shot -— and boy do I have a line of witnesses that would swear to that!!! I’m outspoken, opinionated, even a bit overbearing at times . . . and that’s just the O’s.

I posted those items in my description so that I could be understood as a most unlikely/improbable CRIMINAL, and so that others would see just how far I feel pushed by what is happening in Washington. I certainly didn’t mean to hold myself up as some bastion of perfection.

As far as judgmentalism, I’m more of the live and let live type -— as long as it doesn’t infringe on someone else’s rights along the way. I’m w-a-a-a-a-y more libertarian than you might suspect, so long as I don’t get taxed or otherwise “volunteered” to clean up someone else’s messes. For instance, ride your Harley without a helmet if you want, just don’t expect someone else to pick up your tab if you get your head busted for lack of protection.

I personally think the federal government should be strictly limited by the enumerated authority in the Constitution. I think the states can have more latitude if they must because then we can move to a state we like without having to leave the country.

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; love your neighbor as yourself; do unto others as you would have others do unto you; and the Ten Commandments -— what other governance do we really need?

yep i look at it the same way, let them live the way they want and let them pay for thier mistakes as i have as long as they don,t try to rub our nose in it.

But they are trying to get the goverment to force us to pay for thier mistakes, yeah go ahead and be an unwed mother little girl, we will force the tax payers to provide for you, and you will not have to put up with a husband, you can shack up with whoever you please and the taxpayers will have to help support him too.

It makes me so dam mad that these people talk about how much they care, if they really cared about children why would they encourage young girls to bring bastards into the world,? you would think if they had anything except hate and contempt for children they would encourage the young girls to get married.

If you are retired military, then the government isn’t going to force you to buy health insurance. You are already being given health insurance as part of your retirement package.
