Where in the world is Sarah Barracuda Palin? Alaska's sultry superstar has once again mysteriously disappeared right before she was scheduled to speak at one of her very important fundraisers, this one so slutty teenagers who get knocked up have no choice but to have the baby unless they want to get the ol' parental approval for an abortion.

Now normally Sarah's habit of shirking her duties is limited to elected terms in office, but ever since becoming an unemployed publicity hound and Facebook junkie, Palin's erratic behavior has instead metamorphosed into canceling paid speaking engagements at the very last minute while pretending she was never invited in the first place.

But since this is the "fourth time in recent months that an anticipated Palin speech has fallen through after Palin and her camp disputed they had ever confirmed it," loyal Palin spokesperson Meg Stapleton is used to concocting perfectly good explanations for these embarrassing incidents known as the Sarah Palin experience.

The women’s group here in Simi was advertising that Sarah would be here Aug. 8. (We had signs, etc., ready for a pro-Sarah demonstration at the entrance to the Library.) Sarah’s spokesperson said that, although she had been invited to speak, she hadn’t confirmed because she had a schedule conflict.

Similar thing happened for Sarah's so-called appearance at CPAC last February. My husband and I were debating about signing up for the expensive CPAC "Diamond Package" as money is a bit tight this year, but once they announced via e-mail (and on ASU/CPAC's website) Sarah would be speaking, we signed right up - and encouraged other friends to sign up - and couldn't wait to finally see Sarah in person.

Then Sarah's "people" cancelled and/or said she "never confirmed" the appearance. I admit it left a pretty bitter taste in our mouths over the whole thing. Once we got to CPAC everyone was complaining about Sarah being a no-show. They got Rush Limbaugh to show up and give his fabulous speech, and after that, all was mostly forgiven by CPAC attendees.

This article merits a Barf Alert, but I'm sorry to say there's some truth in it regarding Sarah's many mysterious no shows at these big-ticket events. I love Sarah, but she's got to get her act together, or hire a more professional staff, IMO...

Look, I have no personal animus towards you. Unless you have lived in California, you can’t possibly understand the destruction illegal immigration has caused, and WILL cause to the entire country if amnesty(with chain migration) is enacted. I lived in the Los Angeles area for 30 years 1976-2006. I watched much of it metamorphose from paradise, to a third world hell hole. California is bankrupt in no small part due to 6 million illegal immigrants(La Raza claims 7 million)

Sarah Palin similarly doesn’t understand the danger, because she has only a handful of illegals in her home state. Sarah is a smart gal, and if she spent 2 days driving through California, she would doubtless be mortified.

The woman who wrote this article is vile and obviously hates Sarah (whom I dearly love), but I am kind of wondering what the heck is going on with her schedule...

She's had some good starts via FaceBook and Twitter, but I want to see more...

I hope Sarah starts showing up at her appearances and knocks 'em dead BIG TIME. That'll be the best way to silence her many critics...

Facebook and Twitter are many times easier than giving speeches on different issues. answering questions on the spot is the toughest. If these are recorded then it could help her or could hurt her. Either way we will know more about her views and positions.

Oh, I think Sarah should definitely keep up with her Facebook entries and Tweets. I just want to see her “out there” more in person... If she’s really effective, she can find ways to smack down her critics via Facebook, Twitter, editorials/articles AND during personal appearances...

I'm so glad you've spoken to her and gotten that straight. Where else could you glean that information? It's just like the many organizations claiming her as a speaker/honoree/whatever! Make a claim, and then wait for everyone to look the other way! It's a DISTRACTION.
