Btw, going back over our conversation, the point seems to have been lost. With this many posts, I’m not surprised. I’ve also had a 5 , 3 and 1 year old climbing all over my desk.
True but see post 2458. The date 2007 seems to have an importance.
Sure, and no one let it slip in the last 48 years that, hey wow Barry isn't that cool you were born in Kenya. No one here nor at any time when he visited the motherland.

EEEK! Pelosi is the insurance that this never gets acted upon?!
Can you steer us to where on your web site the information that you refer to is? It sounds like you were way ahead of everyone here.
I know, I quickly corrected myself—point being that contemporaneous docs will verify if such wording was being used elsewhere.
Following the announcement in August that the Government would soon submit for approval a comprehensive set of amendments designed to transform Kenya into a Republic This Source Is Refering To August 1964: 3rd paragraph down - The Role Of The Senate In The Kenyan Political System - by J. H. Proctor, Jr.
Then there is this entry in Wikipedia on Jomo Kenyatta under Leadership (5th paragraph down.)
On June 1, 1964, Kenyatta became President when he successfully had Parliament amend the Constitution to make Kenya a republic with his office becoming executive President: the head of State, head of Government, and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces.
I dont put a lot of faith in Wiki but it was this entry that had me looking elsewhere to confirm. I still have found nothing about the June 1, 1964 event.
NYT article from Aug. 15, 1964 Kenyan Leader Announces Plans for Republic
lol, they always run home to Mama (wonder where she is)
The whole process started during the first direct elections for African Kenyans to the Legislative Council, which took place in 1957.
Bwhahahhahaaa!!!
Thank you both for clearing that up for me. I was unaware of that statute.
From what time? December 1964? February 1964?
One very good reason to seal the divorce records of the Obamas, would be...if those records included a copy of a Kenyan birth certificate for junior, or a reference to his having been born in Kenya.
And divorce records would surely mention a child of the marriage.
Keyes said on Plains Radio, Ken Dunbar show, that he could not remember making such a statement.

Why would WND leave it like that?
Please reread post I asked whether Kenya was a commonwealth member in 64. My conclusion was based on an affirmative answer to the question, but I stated that I did not know the actual answer.
What about WND saying they viewed simliar documents from the same timeframe and they match except for the details of the names and such (of course).
If this is accurate that means either all documents in 1964 were fake...or you may be mistaken.
