It may damage him but someone from within the government leaked word of the wiretap pretty much at or before the actual court order was issued. Therefore, one must expect Hussein had received word a few weeks prior to the November election that Blagojevich was radioactive.

Some are speculating that Rahm Emanuel tipped Fitzgerald off but when one has prior warning that a piece of radioactive waste will solicit them for a bribe, it's easy to do the right thing.

I was thinking much the same as the author. This scandal is so deep and widespread it will take a long time to fully investigate and prosecute. Even if no fingers are ever pointed at The Annointed this story will dog him like toilet paper stuck to his shoe.

If the media in this country wasn't the propaganda ministry of the Democrat party, this would be a real scandal and could create real problems for Obama.

But with the media in this country so solidly behind Obama, this will completely go away, probably before Obama's coronation inauguration.

At the worst, it will end up being like the Prison Blood scandal was for Bill Clinton. Widely reported and followed outside the US, but ignored by our media Democrat propaganda ministry. But that blood scandal had big health and political impact in Canada, where this one is pretty much internal politics. So it might not even get traction outside the US.
