Just in from class. Catchin' up on the TiVo.
So far: Liked Blake. Hated Sanjaya. Singing an anti-war song... only slightly more lame than the original. I like Paula's outfit. And Simon's still a cutie.

So did Elliot and Kat have diehards to outvote Chris too? Look, Season 5 is in the books. Chris is doing great, but Taylor will be fine too. His original stuff on his CD (and earlier ones) is very good and we will hear more of that over time.
From a strictly money standpoint, pop smash hits are great. But it doesn't always mean quality. Hicks will be fine as time goes on.

I think the exploitation was too much for her. It is a tough life. Carrie talked about how much she missed her family and Taylor was on Dr. Phil and discouraged people from going out for Idol due to time constraints.
