So did Elliot and Kat have diehards to outvote Chris too? Look, Season 5 is in the books. Chris is doing great, but Taylor will be fine too. His original stuff on his CD (and earlier ones) is very good and we will hear more of that over time.

From a strictly money standpoint, pop smash hits are great. But it doesn't always mean quality. Hicks will be fine as time goes on.

Don't get me wrong, I like the guy. I just think his style is dated for pop success. There's no question that he can't bring it.

Elliott developed a fan base that was supplimented by Diabetes Organization people who pushed votes hard for him as did the Jewish Community. Not that he didn't deserve to go far because he did well. Chris should have beaten McPhee the night he went home. She had the "girl power" tweener vote.
