It is reported that Senator Lott has a list of 10 names of GOP senators who have elected to stand with the democrats, instead of supporting our own WAR TIME, GOP POTUS.

The list thus far:

Brownback;

Coleman;

Lugar?;

Snow;

Collins;

Hagel;

and likely

Voinovich;

Smith;

Two have not yet been named (outed).

.

A few quotes:

My several relatives who have served in Iraq and still serving don't agree with you.
When you understand history and warfare, comeback

Yes Mam! I'll give him more than that! We have a strong Veteran caucus here and I happen to carry a big stick. (He doesn't want the Vets on his case, NOOO MAAAM!)

>> Also it was good to here SC Lindsey Graham say he supports the plan even though it might not be popular. He basically said he doesn't worry about his political future as this is an important issue for America <<

Oh dear, what will the Lindsey Graham haters do now? Since Graham's lifetime conservative rating is about 91%, they're constantly grasping at straws. First they used the 'gang of 14" vote to "prove" he was an eeeeeeeeeeevil RINO socialist, then they went on a fishing expidiction for monthes and couldn't find anything to cling to, but eventually he voted the wrong way on the so-called torture bill. Then they harped on that for monthes.

Gotta love how they cherry pick his votes and their "breaking news" threads to make Graham outto be the most evil bastard alive despite his 100% pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, anti-tax record. I could just as easily "prove" Larry Craig is an eeeeeeeeeeeeeeevil RINO if I spent all day showcasing the few times we was wrong.

Some freepers are obsessed with spending zillions to remove the guy with the 90% conservative rating who impeached Clinton and spend zillions to help re-elect the guy with the 10% conservative rating. who helped Algore throw out the overseas millitary vote. Harry Reid loves these useful idiots.

If you wanna see why we have such a lousy Senate full of RINOs and RATs, check out the priorities of some "Conservatives" here.

That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. And I'm sure that all of my friends in the military would STRONGLY disagree with you.

At least McCain is not on this list. Nor is DeWhiner.

Interesting Coleman would say that considering he has a kid serving there.

If GWB Doesn't have Warner on his side then I'm afraid his plan is unlikely to prevail.

This war remains a guerrilla war. By our own guerilla warfighting doctrine four things are necessary to win.

1. The support of the indigenous people in region.

2. The support of the people in the US whose tax dollars support the prosecution of the war.

3. Sufficient forces on the ground to overwhelm guerrilla forces.

4. A local economy that gives indigenous people reason to oppose the insurgency.

Now...If you answer those four questions honestly what conclusions do you come to?

I really liked your McClellan remark.

Voinovich cries a lot, and should stay with the women and the wagons.

Great symbolism.

Graham accomplished far more politically than you ever will.

I can just image what would happen in the "Lindsey Graham is evil incarnate" useful idiot wing of FR had been around in '98:

"Can't trust the impeachment vote... that bastard McCAIN is FOR it. Graham is clearly only pushing impeachment because "McCain" told him too. Graham is pimping for McCain on the committee. I regret ever letting supporting Graham for the Judicary Committee over a Democrat Let's Re-elect Slick Willie and show light in the loafers Graham who's boss!!!"

Folks, they are senators because they can't do anything else.

Seriously, if you can't teach, run for Senate.

As conservatives continue to return to their roots as advocates of prudence, national defense rather than Wilsonianism (as they were went they supported Congressional action against Clinton's Kosovo crusade), you are going to have to endure many other "ridiculous things." Look for more Brownbacks and Hagels to appear on the scene soon and, just as importantly, win votes in 2008.

I've spent YEARS more. than you, fighting FR's moronic fringers.

I was FREEPING ( protesting liberals, anti-war cretins, and Caesar Chavez thugs, on my own ) long before FR or the internet ever existed.

I too worked to get Reagan elected, but that was for president, since I've never lived in California, and helped deliver a BLUE state to him.

And don't you dare try to imply that all I am is some kind of "keyboard commando"! I can spot you adveture/political work, point for point and come out the winner. You've just run into the proverbial stone wall. ;^)

There is only one legitimate question in this entire business.

Will the addition of 20,000 additional troops make the difference in Iraq?

I don't think so...The logic is simple. If 20,000 additional troops would make the difference it would have been done long ago and Military leaders would have requested it.

I have been on and off this thread.
You think what you want.
As far as irritating, plenty on FR who match that.

Been in the real world for a long time. Ret. as a Legal Support Asst. with the county attys. Worked for years on forearm crutches, several major orthopedic surgeries, braces, etc. and supported myself.
Some on FR have had it to easy.

Fortunately, after three years ...

It is tempting to pull your post, but the forum might enjoy a piñata tonight - especially the ones serving - or who have loved ones serving in Iraq.

Sounds rather 'Ted Kazinski-ish' if you ask me.

Manifestos like yours are entertaining for the most part, it must take hours to come up with all those catchy little paraphrases.

You do parrot several DUmmies that have been lurking here lately, should we do some research into your past sincerity?

Graham is a disappointment. I don't know why you support him but there are a lot of South Carolinians that plan to get him thrown out in the primaries.

Pssssssssssssssssst...since you imply that you are sooooooooooooooo politically savvy, explain to me just how Hunter is going to win the nomination WITHOUT having any powerhouse financial and political backing. And please don't tell me that the "grassroots", of which I am a member, will do it for him.
