Hyperbole is their sole method of argument, besides name calling.

They accuse me and others of wanting to stone people, rip their children away, and so on.

None of which have I advocated in any way, shape, or form. I just don't want homosexuality or immorality NORMALIZED, mandated, promoted, or proselytized.

And, in the case of single mothers (which would include, by definition, any woman not married to a *man*), they should not be allowed to be artificially inseminated. Nope, shouldn't be allowed.

(Gasp! Infringement of rights!) What about the rights of children? To have a father and mother? To be brought into the world without defying the laws of nature?

Anyone who thinks that single women should be allowed to be artificially insemniated and thinks abortion is fine, is a living, lying pile of hypocrisy.

Hey, didn't your boy Francis call us all "queers?"

hmmmm?

So, you want government to pass laws on who can and can't get pregnant? Why stop with lesbians, why not restrict the poor out of having kids, since, statistically, they have more of a chance of being raised in a bad environment. Or, anyone with any family history of an illness that may shorten their life. You wouldn't want to have mommy or daddy die of a heart attack when junior is only a few years old. And, how about a maximum age for pregnancy!

Theocracies don't work, I suggest you move to one, you might be happy living under that kind of system.

I'm guessing you are really into your home owner association.

All well and good in a perfect world, but how are you going to go about enforcing this? Have a law forcing physicians to give out sensitive medical data on their patients? Have doctors force patients to fill out a form that would in effect make patients more likely to lie?

Remove all children from homes with single parents? Where will you put them? Is an abusive "Christian" home better than the best possible gay parent? A gay friend adopted an older troubled child and is providing that child a home 100 times better than any foster family.

Or are you suggesting all assistance with fertility be banned?

The laws of nature thing is a biggy with me. When raising children, nature is one of the best teachers. Without it, children are left wondering and guessing and searching for answers and not finding them. For my family, faith and nature go hand in hand, and all answers can be found there. I truly believe the lack of recognition of both is the root cause of most discontent, and that includes in the lives of children. Because within the two, by correlating the two, all answers can be found, and the child's world is then "safe".
