No Giuliani, No McCain
Petition Online ^ | Dec. 14, 2006 | Andrew Longman

Posted on 12/15/2006 7:22:32 PM PST by FarRockaway

To: The Republican Party

I am a Christian conservative or social conservative. I am Pro-Life. I vote.

Rudy Giuliani is pro-gay, pro-gun control, and pro-abortion.

For these reasons and others, I state very firmly that I will not vote for Rudy Giuliani for President of the United States under any circumstances.

Senator John McCain has waffled on human cloning, has supported experimentation on human embryos, and has attacked prominent Christian clergy because of the, "evil influence that they exercise." John McCain has said of Pro-Life voters, on a public broadcast radio show, that they are, "otherwise intelligent people who say that that's the only issue that will determine their vote." McCain told the San Francisco Chronicle, "I would not support repeal of Roe v. Wade."

For these reasons and others, I state very firmly that I will not vote for John McCain for President of the United States under any circumstances.

Sincerely,

CFR

THE GANG OF 14

He spilled his guts, the minute that the Cong found him and he has a group of fellow Hanoi Hilton "guests", who have stuff on him, that will make the SWIFTEES look like a pack of girl scout cookie sellers.

He has ignored POWS, their families and made "friends" with the government of Nam.

He left his first wife, who stayed true to him, all through his captivity and nursed him back, once he was home, for a younger, wealthier version, whose father was MOBBED UP.

If you want more facts, the have been posted all over FR,for many years and are still being posted, to this day. Just enter McCain in FR's search engine and read your eyes out.

He has been *doing things*

Yeah like calling the largest city in a state that the GOP MUST win in order to have a chance in presidential elections a 3rd world hell hole. Yep he has "visibility" alright and that is THE PROBLEM.

So you're pro-abortion, pro-gay special rights, anti-second amendment and pro-amnesty?

And the polls they're showing on CNBC and Fox News show McCain would beat both Clinton and Obama. So I don't get what you mean by that only Giuliani can win comment.

[You may not like him, but Rudy is VERY popular with a LOT of CONSERVATIVES and just plain old Republicans; unlike McCain.]

I know this to be true based on conversations with a lot of my right-leaning friends, coworkers and acquaintances.

Quite true. I don't think Tancredo can win.

If Giulani gets the nod, I will take a real hard look at his positions, allowing for the possibility that he might have changed his mind on the positions that I find loathsome.

I'll vote 3rd party before I vote for McCain. I think he's dangerous.

Tancredo saw a bunch of folks speaking Spanish in Miami (of course in Miami most can speak English quite well at this juncture, some maybe even better than Tancredo), and immediately thought "third world" and "un-American." The guy just isn't a rocket scientist. I am beginning to suspect, that he is not only mentally challenged, and superficial, but may have some issues he needs to work out, regarding the matter of judging folks by their character, rather than toxic proxies. JMO.

Apparently it is so silly and worthless that it demands your time replying to it.

"So you don't like Mormons because of their religious beliefs?

I'm catholic .. and I'll betcha there are a few that feel the same about my faith "

I'm Missouri Synod Lutheran, I am sure you don't agree 100% with us. But I also guarantee that if you actually go read Mormon history and the Book of Mormon, you will understand that it is a cult.

Some cults are worse than others - all I'm saying is do your own research first and don't just wash the differences away through laziness.

And it is not just Mormon religious belief that is problematic, it is also the structure of the bishops and nepotism.

I don't think the McCain or Rudy have the money now.

I don't think Rudy would have a chance of winning in the primaries but he likely would raise and waste a bunch in running.

Grassroots dollars in an election cycle are limited. If they get wasted before the general election on someone with no chance that money is gone.

When volunteers put in a bunch of time working on a hyped up candidate that loses they seldom want to work for the primary winner.

The MSM is pushing Rudy because they know he is the only one Hillary is sure to beat.
McCain is a treasonous bastard and is insane.

There are plenty of other Republicans that can win. Brownback, Hunter, I wouldn't count out Romney.

George Allen was who I wanted but it looks like he wont run.

I'd crawl on my knees over broken glass to pull the lever for a Republican to keep these evil monsters (Democrats) away from the levers of power.

"I have never met one I didn't like."

I will introduce you to half a dozen crooks and nutbags any time. Start with Harry Reid, he is in the generic mold.
