This is directed at those so called "conservative" retards who did not vote for their Republican Senators and Representatives in the few close states, or who voted Libertarian or Democrat.

I knew a country once. It was called "America". "Libertarians" and Republicans who didn’t vote; YOU ARE TRAITORS to that country and your so called conservative values. It’s that simple. And you just handed America to the Modern American Socialist party. Good job. Well done. GO TO H**L!!! I am so disgusted and ashamed of America right now I can’t even hardly type. I can’t sleep either. I can not make myself even process the fact that in a time of war, the most serious and most difficult war in America’s HISTORY, the people of America are so weak and gutless that they can’t support the one single party with the ability to do what needs to be done to win and protect the country.

With a 15 or so seat House Majority and a basically two seat Senate Majority, the country is well and truly f****d for the next two years. The war, forget it. Might as well run up the yellow flag, pull our guys home, and grab and kiss our butts good bye. The terrorists will be gleeful about this election result, and that speaks for itself. The party of weakness and appeasement and talk without action just won. North Korea and Iran will cheer this election. That speaks for itself also.

The Supreme Court? Kiss it good bye for another 20 or more years. Stevens will not finish out 2007 on the court, maybe not even the next few months. And now, with no control in Congress, no real conservative nominee will get to the Senate floor for a vote. To all you so called Americans who didn’t vote Republican but CLAIM to be conservative, how’s that feel? How’s it feel to know that a couple hundred thousand of you geniuses just guaranteed that the Supreme Court will have more gutless milk toast moderates like Kennedy making decisions instead of people like Scalia and Thomas and Roberts and Alito? Does it feel good? STUPID B******S!!!

Say goodbye to a Congress that will fund a proactive aggressive war against terrorism, fighting far away before it hits home instead of reacting after it hits home. Say goodbye to tax cuts. Say good bye to border enforcement. Say good bye to limits on abortions and embryonic/fetal stem cell research. BILLIONS will now be wasted on bad junk research which will provide no cures, but will help protect abortion and human cloning. Say good bye to a good strong growing economy and healthy job market. The Democrats will have their way with all those things like a convicted sex offender at cheerleader camp.

Oh, and before I forget, The voters in Virginia and Ohio and Missouri and Montana are the STUPIDEST MOST RETARTED SHORT SIGHTED INBRED MORONS on the face of the stinking planet!!!!! This was not about Democrat numbers. This was about a few hundred thousand people who CLAIM to be conservatives, who either voted Libertarian or didn’t vote or voted Democrat. All three groups of those people are NOT conservatives and as far as I’m concerned, those pieces of trash give lip service about their supposed "conservative values" and then when it’s important, they chicken out, or have their little ego trip pitty party because the Republican party isn’t like Burger King; "If I can’t have it my way I just won’t vote for Republicans". I haven’t had a lot my way in the GOP but they’re the only game in town that can win that’s going to even try to do things that I like at least most of the time. How the STUPID STUPID people in those states, ESPECIALLY VIRGINIA, couldn’t see that. I’m just stunned.

You voters who claim to be conservative, and so concerned about America not being a liberal wasteland, but didn’t vote Republican in those close states you blew it!!! You just pimped out America because of your stubborn arrogance and insistence to have it your way or not at all. I would really like to hear from SOMEONE in those states who didn’t support their Republican Senators or Representatives, and tell me PLEASE, do you think you’re going to get what you want, anything you want, from a DEMOCRAT MAJORITY that YOU created in the House and Senate? You’re going to get a retreat on the war, higher taxes, wide open border, NO legislation to secure it, moderate Judges AT BEST, endless federal funding for abortion and failed science embryonic/fetal stem cell research, well fare programs galore, and a stagnant economy and job market. That never happened with a Republican Congress, even with RINOs in it. And you think the GOP spent too much? Wait till you see how much the liberals spend now that they have their sticky fingers back in the honey pot. They’re going to quickly fill up their 12 year hunger to have power back. Good job. The people of Missouri especially should be ashamed of themselves too. I mean, how stupid are the people of Missouri that didn’t vote for Talent and against Amendment 2??? Five minutes of research would expose the fact that that Amendment is a CLONING AMENDMENT and that stem cell research, INCLUDING EMBRYONIC STEM CELL RESEARCH IS ALREADY LEGAL IN MISSOURI!!! Just not TAX PAYER FUNDED embryonic stem cell research. I never dreamed that so many Americans could have their heads up their a***s with so much on the line. Millions of Americans who voted for Bush in 2004, in just two short years, have become totally disconnected from reality. They swallowed the lies about Iraq hook line and sinker. They swallowed the lies about stem cell research. And clearly they swallowed the lies that the Democrat party isn’t as liberal as it really is. It’s hard to believe that in just 50 years, America has so fallen to what it will become in January. And when investigations and impeachment hearings begin. We will ALL know who is REALLY to blame. Conservatives are only real conservatives if they ACT and VOTE like it. RINOs aren’t the ONLY RINOs you know!!! If you didn’t support your Republican Senator or Congressman, you’re a RINO too, or more accurately, a CINO. Conservative in name only. REAL conservatives voted Republican. Anyone else is a half-wit poser who was too impressed by their own importance than what was good for the country. There is nothing that will come from liberal Democrat control of the House and Senate. And this sets them up real well to take the White House in 2008. So ends the conservative revolution to take America back to it’s roots and end the cancer of liberal socialism. I’m really afraid that America might just have died with this election. Every great fall starts with just one misstep. Unless something spectacular happens between now and November 2008, America is dead as a conservative values oriented nation. The best I am hoping for now is that a pathetic RINO like McCain or Giuliani can get elected President. Considering the inept weak willed behavior of voters that’s exposed itself Tuesday, that seems like the best there is to hope for. My God this is sad. Terrorists will celebrate this outcome. That says it all right there, and there’s no denying it. I wish I didn’t love this country so d**n much, then I wouldn’t give a rip.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not giving up. I don't quit. I'm just well and truly p*****d off and don't like being stabbed in the back by people who claim so loudly to be conservatives. Ironically, thanks to McCaskill and Michael Fox's blatant lies to get the cloning amendment passed, the Democrats have another way to create brain dead mind numbed obedient voters. First there was wellfare, then scare tactics about lynchings and no school lunches and dog food for elderly people, now, cloning to just make good loyal Democrats from scratch. Not that they need them when they can feed a steady stream of bronzed s**t to conservatives and they take it hook line and sinker and give away the Congress.

And cram your smug comments. I've been into politics since I was 12. I don't get played by the MSM I don't even listen to the MSM. I've seen the numbers. So called "conservatives" that didn't vote or voted libertarian had a part to play in this, and the Senate races were so close, that was enough. And if it was such a myth, there wouldn't be those here getting so bent out of shape about it. They're defensive because they know I'm right. And most here agree with me.

Not unexpected, frankly. Many of us were out there screaming at the top of our lungs about running on an issue that united all Republicans -- judicial nominations. Worked quite well in 2002 and 2004 and for whatever reason, it was abandoned in 2006, on the verge of what could be the most
important nomination to the SCOTUS in our lifetimes. Foolish.

Spending like drunken sailors certainly didn't help and further abandonment of conservative principles added fuel to the disenchantment of economic and social conservatives alike. Face it, my conservative brethren -- we were ALL
disappointed and frustrated at the complete lack of motivation to champion conservative ideas despite having majorities in both houses and the Presidency.
So sure, the most diehard of us voted, but it wasn't enthusiastic.

But notice something interesting here -- ALL 8 marriage amendments passed. The Michigan Civil Rights Initiative passed. An "English Only" initiative passed. And the Democrats that won? They ran as conservative, blue dog democrats. They didn't win, folks. We lost, badly,
because they took up the conservative mantra that Republicans had abandoned.

Just like Bill Bennett said in 1996 or so...."We were so afraid of standing for something and losing that we stood for nothing and lost anyways." Boldness has its cost to be sure, but it also has its benefits -- like folks know definitively where you stand.

Unlike the wailing and gnashing of teeth that rebounded through leftists communities after the thrashings of 2000, 2002 and 2004, I actually feel more determined and dedicated than ever. I can't look into the eyes of my children and say, "all is lost, so let's give up!"

No, no, no. Lick your wounds if you must, fellow conservatives, but resist the temptation to form a circular firing squad.

That's an old tired excuse. That is what the primaries are for. The weak GOp with RINOs was nothing compared to this liberal flaming Democrat Congress we're strapped with now. Anyone who's too shortsighted to understand this simple fact is a liability to the conservative movement if they're that easily swayed when they don't get exactly what they want when they want. And a few people here talk about I'm crying and need to get over it. Being angry and crying aren't quite the same. How about the whiners who don't like the weak GOP? How about THEY get over it! Welcome to the REAL WORLD!!! WHere you don't get all of what you want when you want it or how you want it!!! You take what you can get when you can get it, and how best you can manage it. THAT is the real world of politics. The conservatives that changed or didn't make their votes because they're fed up with a weak GOP are among the stupidest voters in the country.

Also, I think you're missing my point. I'm not defending the GOP leadership. They've been neutered at best and when Tom DeLay left, he took the only set of testicles in the House. The Senate already was pretty gentile. I've railed quite a bit about how wussy the GOP Congress leadership is. I lived in DeLay's district for over ten years, know him and his family, and when the Democrats picked him off for a non-crime, that was the start of this. It was down hill from there. What I didn't expect was that just enough conservative voters would give in to the liberal media koolaid and cost the Senate majority, especially with Steven's time on the SC numbered. I am wondering if any real conservative had a single short thought about the Supreme Court and what would happen if they didn't vote for their Republican Senators and they lose. That's my biggest problem with last night. The loss of the Senate and the guarnateed chance to make the SC constructionist with a fifth firm conservative like Scalia and Alito is gone. And it was a sure thing. If conservatives had just voted Republican just one more cycle, then fight to clean up the RINOs and get real conservatives in the primaries, the PROPER place to voice displeasure with weakness and RINOs. Too late now.

Yup, exactly. The assumption that we can win back the House or Senate is some kind of major huberous. Democrats controlled Congress for over 50 years. Makes me wonder if most voters just have no memory before 1994 or what it was like before the Contract with America. The contract is dead. All that hard work. Down the toilet. All because thousands of conservatives couldn't stick with the party for the good of the conservative movement. I haven't been happy with the GOP leadership or their weakness on the border and the like, but I didn't go gutless or jump ship and let the liberals take over. I just don't understand that way of thinking.

While I appreciate your passion and share in your disappointment over last nights election results, I am neither shocked nor overly concerned about it, and I would NEVER refer to American Citizens who vote their conscience (or choose not to vote at all) as TRAITORS (although I will have no sympathy or tolerance for their complaints about the government they will now have)! These kinds of shifts in power are historically cyclical in nature, and it was inevitable that the Rats would reclaim control of one or both houses of congress. Considering how far the GOP leadership has allowed the party to stray from its' message of 1994 that brought it to power, it is not at all surprising.

Now is not the time for wailing and gnashing of teeth (although the urge to do so is natural and understandable)--Now is the time for serious and honest introspection about where we are as a party, how we got here, and what we have to do to demonstrate to the American people that our ideas are superior. Ideas matter--Ideas brought the Republicans to power and ideas will bring us back to power.

In the mean time, I for one am looking forward to watching the Dems fall flat on their faces again. These people are loons. Now that they are in charge, they will have to run the show. Since they didn't have a clear vision of what they were going to do when they got power, they will be forging ahead rudderless running into disaster after disaster. We have to be prepared to take advantage of this and show America that Dems simply aren't capable of governing.

So buck it up, hunker down, and let's get back to work!
