With a 15 or so seat House Majority and a basically two seat Senate Majority, the country is well and truly f****d for the next two years. The war, forget it. Might as well run up the yellow flag, pull our guys home, and grab and kiss our butts good bye.

Glad you weren't around in Texas circa 1836 at the Alamo...there a band of between 183-250 "real" patriots held off an opposing army of 6,000 for almost two weeks, in allowing Sam Houston time to win the eventual Battle of San Juacinto! We do have that obligation, and if it was up to me we would. But when most voters go gutless, it's out of individuals hands. What I know is right is one thing. Making it so is not the same as knowing.
