A leading British scientist said yesterday that he had given up trying to persuade creationists that Darwin's theory is correct after repeatedly being misrepresented and, he said, branded a liar.
Speaking at the Guardian Hay festival at Hay-on-Wye, the evolutionary biologist Steve Jones spoke of his frustrations when trying to debate with religious opponents.
"I don't engage with creationists directly," he said, saying that, when he had, they had frequently quoted him out of context or accused him of lying. "If somebody has decided to believe something - whatever the evidence - then there is nothing you can do about it."

The most important difference between evolutionists and creationists, Prof Jones concluded, is that scientists are always prepared to say, "I don't know".
"If there weren't any unknown parts of evolution, bits we don't understand, it wouldn't be a science," he said, "That's one thing that believers never say, because it's all written down in a big book."
In 1997, Prof Jones was awarded the Royal Society's Michael Faraday prize, the UK's foremost award for communicating science to the public.

Because they proved it was fake. The organgutan jaw was carbon dated as was the man skull. Guess what, they didnt match!!! I believe the man skull was like 1000 y.o and the og skull was 10.
There are millions??? Please name some. And I guess you base your scientific fact that scientists think God is a lot smarter than I do by the same method they prove evolution. (If you say it out loud, it becomes true). For all I know, evolution could be true, my point is that it has not been proven. You cannot prove something true by not being able to prove it false. That is not science.
And the research that "proved" Piltown was fake was done by mainstream scientists or by creation scientists?
See what I mean. I ask for proof and you have none to give. Tsk tsk tsk.
Ah, there is your mistake. I did not ask ANYONE to accept my faith as fact. It is my faith and my faith alone. Whether or not others accept it is up to them. My whole point is if they are both theories, they should both be taught, as theories, side by side and let people decide for themselves. The problem with evolutionists is they present their theory as fact, which it is not and do not allow other theories to be taught. This tells me that you are not confident enough in your theory to have others heard.
OK, when this bacteria grows an eye, a limb or any kind of anything, then maybe I'll think twice. However, the bacteria is still a bacteria. Our bodies also create tolerances, doesnt prove evolution. By the way, where are all the fossils of the genetic throw aways we evolved from? Not ONE has been found, not one. And dont give me this they were too soft to fossilize because they found fossilized worms and plants and bacteria. Darwin said the fossils will prove his theory, alas, they have not. Where did all these mutations go??? (I know I know, certainly not heaven cause theres no such thing).

Not one? Yes, there are millions of good arguable examples for Evolution. And evolution is still a model. A good model, but just a model. What do you have for creation? Noah's boat? An ancient man with a missing rib?
I personally think the creationists are more math deficient than anything. They can't fathom what every single animal on the planet packed into one boat would be. They can't imagine how the earth would be several feet deep in animals if all the species that ever existed were placed on the planet all at once. Just no mathematical skills at all.
