I love the boots too, very hot! However, they are the same ones he wore during "Funky Music White Boy". The stylists pointed them out on the AI fashion page on their web site.Ooooh.

No kidding.I think he had his face botoxed or something. I'm just glad Ace wasn't sitting next to him giving us his "look". More than I could bear. I almost want to go have a t-shirt made that says "Seriously, Constantine. Just stop." now. LOL.

"geriatric"? At 29? Wonder what that makes me? LOL. The writer must be 12. Or just getting a little carried away over the gray hair. I've seen pictures of Taylor with dark hair & used to think maybe if he dyed it...But not anymore. He's just fine the way he is.

About the commercials....have you noticed all of the coke glasses and coke bottles and logos? I've watched the last three seasons and it's always been like that.

Having listened to a couple of last nights performances this morning makes me glad I did not watch the show live for the most part. I saw bits of a couple of Taylor's and Katherine's performances while flipping channels and was less than enthused by their quality. Listening to their performances reveals that this years slate of singers was maybe the weakest group AI has ever had.
What made this finale show even worse was saddling mediocre singers with horrid debut songs. Does AI intentionally try to find the worst songs ever written to try to see if a singer can turn a sow's ear into a silk purse? Taylor does not sing low very well at all. He was exceedingly flat, but at least got to show a little something near the end. Katherine's song was an abomination. Horrid from beginning to end.
Neither of these people have talent that will serve them well long term. Maybe they will be able to land gigs at some low level casino opening for Little Richard, but as far as being a major star for a major label, all I have to say is both better save up whatever money they make out of their 15 minutes of fame, because that fame is soon to end.
Without a doubt, the worst AI season of them all.

I disagree that it was the worst season. In fact, I think that this year's top 5 were the best top 5 they've had. Neither of the final 2 were my choice. I thought Elliot and Mandisa were the most talented. But, it is what it is and either Kat or Taylor will suit me just fine. But, between the two, I prefer Taylor. He's a real entertainer.

Sheesh, I don't believe this crap! There is nary a wrinkle on his cherub face. Plus, I think its so cool the way his hair looks as though its dark underneath the gray top parts (no, not roots)AND on the fringe of his bangs. It really looks like he means for his hair to be that way and somehow manages to make it look like that with some help. The dark under the grey is sexy

Check out the website MyWay....on the right they have an article.....American Idol Winner.........
Read more than you ever want to know about Kat.......and her therapy sessions. Yikes.....typical Los Angeles I guess.

I agree with you, especially on Elliott and Mandisa. They had the best voices but were not considered "Idol" material based upon superficial things like "looks."
Chris was the favorite all year long and left in a real "shocker" due to Kat's fans beating him out and his fans being asleep at the switch.
Katharine is a beautiful girl with a nice voice so she'll go far, perhaps on Broadway or even Hollywood.
Taylor is an "artist" who will have huge success assuming he wins this thing.
But I digress...this is the only season that I'd buy the Idol CD or even consider seeing the tour.

When Taylor finishes singing, he's so happy. Like it was the best few minutes of his life. He loves music and it shows.
Kat is just too contrived for my taste. There seems to be no real there there.

Brian of Fox & Friends interviewed Simon just prior to last night's show. Simon, who I respect more than the other two, stated Kat was the better vocalist, but he thought Taylor would win because he's more popular. I think last night he predicted Taylor would win because he didn't screw up his performances. During the interview, Simon stated he was afraid Eliott may not go very far, but it was more a statement of sadness. I think he liked Elliott.
I've really tried to like Taylor but everytime he starts a song and I try to have a positive attitude, he'll hit some note and I cringe. I just don't see his talent, but he is a nice person. I think Kat is nice too, I try to look at their talent and not their popularity.
