Now I'm hearing Taylor can sing a song he hasn't performed yet, also hearing that there are 2 different AI-created songs for each finalist, perhaps because Taylor's objection to the first one written for them. Dunno if any of this is true though.

A dirty little bird tells us that The Gayken is set to perform on the American Idol finale this Wednesday night, marking his first high-profile appearance since his recent gay sexcapades have made headlines.

Also, Clay is scheduled to meet with and give an award to a young fan. Hopefully not too young. Though, we do hear Clay is a giver.

I'm just curious. I went to the laseredgecd.com website and clicked on their top seller list, and yes, sure enough, Taylor Hicks is their number 1 seller for the 15th consecutive week in a row. However, I can't seem to find the sales figure as you mentioned -- 600K ( GOLD ).

Can you tell me where you got this figures from ?

I've been trying to find active corroboration of that supposedly gay incident mentioned by the guy who claimed it happened.

Clay Aiken as at least once denied that he is gay. He and his team have thus far, refused to comment on this incident.

So, how do we know that this is true or not ?

That would be my personal preference. His fans have been clamoring for it since day 1.

My questions are :

1) How is he going to compress his 6 minute version complete with blues guitar riffs to 1:30 ? That would be interesting.

2) More importantly .... I thought ( and I may be wrong on this ) that the finals consists of -- ONE SONG WRITTEN FOR YOU, ONE SONG WRITTEN FOR BOTH KAT AND TAYLOR, and ONE SONG THEY ALREADY SANG IN THE COMPETITION....?

Actually the part where they have to encore one song they sang before makes little sense to me. It would make more sense to make it FREE OPTION -- i.e., they get to choose ANYTHING THEY LIKE TO PERFORM. This will be the opportunity highlight their TRUE ARTISTRY when unrestricted by the artificial demands of the competition. That is of course, if TPTB are interested in promoting their careers instead of favoring one contestant over the other.

Also, I'm hearing from various boards that for the first time, Taylor is making himself difficult because he seems to be fighting against the song they're asking him to sing...

This is looking to be VERRY INTERESTING ( as Arte Johnson used to say ).

I’ve heard him say that in several interviews. Well, we have pictures of his apartment and I can understand why !
