Prince was one of the worst parts of the show, IMO. The only thing worse was Mary J. Blige's rudeness toward Elliott.Good evening, Jonny. :) Forgot to say g'evening in my first response to you a coupla minutes ago.
To be honest, I didn't enjoy any of the pros. I thought they were all annoying for one reason or another. Hard to pick a worst, but Braxton probably takes that spot with me 'cause her performance was so genuinely lousy. Ugh!

Oh, that must be why you didn't see the confetti. They went into the overtime in my area so I did see it. I do agree that they really didn't let Taylor have his moment however. That sucked!

The Jon Benet may have been the wonderful AI stylists.I know. Unfortunately, mine was a gut reaction, not a reasoned one. Gut reactions are much harder to get past than more considered ones. I always have wished her well, though.

Pickle looks like she's gonna hang onto Taylor for dear life. In the meantime, he looks totally stunned. That's a great photo :)
I like Pickler much more now (now that she's stopped trying to impersonate Carrie!) I hope she gets a nice TV show out of this. She's very entertaining to watch :)

And some would have criticized her if she HAD removed herself from the camera right away. I swear, she can't do anything to please her detractors. Kat gassed Jews during the early '40s. Right before trying to assassinate Taylor Hicks from the book depository. It's true! I heard it on this thread!

I swear, she can't do anything to please her detractors. I know, and I don't get it! They stage these shows, and she did exactly what she was supposed to do. She took this very graciously actually. The girl is a real talent, and the animosity to her here bewilders me to be honest.
These kids this year were all great, all deserve to be stars and each one can be so proud of their achievement.

Yeah, Pickle (I still like calling her that) is fun to watch now that she's out of the competition setting. She was hilarious with Puck. That was the only celeb segment I really liked.

BTW, Jonny. Re the photo of Pickle kissing Taylor, someone responded to it by saying she looks like she knows how to kiss a guy so he stays kissed. :)
She is SO perfect for the dumb blonde niche that I'd be surprised offers along those lines didn't come pouring in for her.

Jonny this morning Taylor was on the last half hour of Rick and Bubba. I didn't get to hear all of the interview but he talked about Toni and they laughed about it. He used the expression Soul Control in the interview with them as well. I'll try later to see if they posted it on their web.

Perhaps the rumors were true that she was wanted Kat to win. In an interview she was asked about who she wanted to win and she said they were both very good and she couldn't pick. I wonder if it was something besides the show.

No I agree. While America seemed ecstatic over the winner, the AI powers that be seemed less than thrilled. Don't understand it. If they saw how many came to B'ham, AL just to be a part of the celebration they would be happy. There were more here than for Ruben and Bo combined.
