WASHINGTON -- Hundreds of gay and lesbian parents hoping to take their families to the annual White House Easter Egg Roll plan to start lining up Friday evening to make sure they get tickets for the Monday event.
Thousands of tickets — an estimated 16,000 last year — are given away on a first-come-first-come basis beginning at 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
National Park Service officials said Wednesday that children of all ages may attend as long as there is at least one child 7 years old or younger, and no more than two adults per group.
First lady Laura Bush's office issued a statement saying all families are welcome to attend.

The definition of a family is a Man and a Woman and a Child.
Two men and a child is deviant, and should never be recognized as legitimate.
There's no need for anything of the sort. Perhaps you're unaware that the gay couples would be the same-sex couples. And for this event they'll be wearing the multi-colored leis to make their political statement at this event for children.
Why don't you give THAT some thought.

Letting kids with Easter baskets onto the White House grounds does not equate to recognizing gay marriage.

This reminds me of that movie of that town in France during the war, where the folks in the asylum were let out, and the message that evolved was that the real asylum was outside the town, rather than in it.

If homosexuals brought children to the function without rainbow emblems, not mentioning or proclaiming their sexual preference, no one would know or care.
Why do you think they are publicizing their plans and announcing they will wear rainbow colored leis? So people will notice that they are homosexual?

I think the target in mind is mean spirited self described "Bible believing Christians," who de-emphasive Christ's invocation of love, and treating your neighbor with dignity and respect, who are not reconciled to that Madisonian doctrine set forth in the Federalist Papers of pluralism, and affording to all certain fundamental rights to enjoy the fruited plain without traducement emanating from an authoritarian intolerant intrusive state.
