What would be the political consequence if the TV showed images of the White House trying to find out who was gay

There's no need for anything of the sort. Perhaps you're unaware that the gay couples would be the same-sex couples. And for this event they'll be wearing the multi-colored leis to make their political statement at this event for children.

Oh, the man and the woman thing. Suppose only one parent shows up? Suppose on parent goes in with one kid, and another parent with another? Suppose that couples swap, you know, one Lesbian with one gay man? In any event, the footage of the guards turning away two women with their kids, with the kids sobbing, will make great for a great TV experience.

This reminds me of that movie of that town in France during the war, where the folks in the asylum were let out, and the message that evolved was that the real asylum was outside the town, rather than in it.

Concurring bump. The Left decided to try to politicize this event. Let them explain it to their kids when they get disinvited.

The White House could sidestep this particular challenge in future by adopting, regretfully but firmly, a one-parent rule: one parent in each family group. End of problem, for now, until the HRC guerrilla-theater mavens think up something else.
