They continue to believe old-earth, etc. when evidence suggests the impossibilities thereof.

Everyone arguing against science seems to have their own "evidence" here.

(To quote Inigo Montoya, "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means")

Certainly. The Grand Master upped our budget for FY '06, so I was able to invest in more storage media and extra filing cabinets. I even had enough left over to put up a drywall barrier between my office and the furnace in the basement of the Tortoise Wing.

You expect me to read all of that to find your response to me somewhere in it?

I hope they will include teaching about Ginnungagap and Niflheim. They shouldn’t leave out Apsu and Taimat either.

"Here is a sample of GCSE Biology revision notes for students, from the BBC's website; it is not the ringing endorsement of creationism/ID that some seem to wish that it was."

I didn't really expect it to me a "ringing endorsement." I like the idea that it is being discussed in "history of science" and not a philosophy course. It is indeed part of the history of science and will continue to be. I don't even mind that the material denigrates "creationism." I really would expect no less. However, most students are wise enough to know that "history" is a matter of interpretation. So, I think (as a creationist) that this is still a good step. If the material is being presented, even in a derisive manner, the students are still being exposed to the ideas. So, considering the past, I cannot complain, and chose to see it in a positive light.

You're thinking of the janitorial staff. They're in the Finch Wing. We're Archives.

Evolutionists I guess are scared that we are not the only life forms in this universe. Why is it so bad to say that a Martian made the life forms on earth. It seems evolutionists are bent that a life form could not logically manufacture the life we see here on earth. An invention without an inventor?

The ID-iots will have to put up or shut up

Or try to change the rules of logic again.

The focal point is that a mind is behind what we observe on earth and in the universe. It is the same as looking at car. We can look at it and say it has evolved into what it is today but instead we say that there are designers and manufacturers behind the car that we see.

Dear Darwin, No! Archives is all about preserving data. Those ogres in Disposals have no souls; they simply love to shred anything that comes their way. And, when the folks from Black Ops can't supply them with enough work, they come nosing around my stacks.

Except there is overwhelming proof that someone did design that car. There is zero proof that anything designed human life. Don't cite me the bible thats not proof.

You can speculate that maybe someone started life on earth, but until you find some evidences its a belief not a theory. Your entitled to your beliefs but you aren't entitled to force it on society, which many IDers want to do. What makes you think allow teachers to espouse religious beliefs is going to be good for christianity. Most teachers are flaming liberals so for every teacher saying God did it, there will another 10 telling your kids that life on earth started from semen from a gay alien's ass.

I also love how alot of creationists switched to ID so readily but now claim that ID is true beyond any doubt, just like they were sure creationism was so true 3 years ago.
